Hey guys! It has been a while, sorry about that. Life as a computer engineering student ceases to give me any free time at all. However, i did want to make a post relating to the latest OnePlus One update which allows you to shoot in raw. If you didn't know already, shooting in raw allows you full control of the editing process. When editing JPEG's you loose detail every time you adjust expose, contrast, shadows and highlights. This is because once converted to JPEG format you through away all the information about the photograph captured by the sensor, then the file is compressed and you're left with a monotonistic picture with no adjustability. Here are some examples of the differences between a post-processed Raw file vs a JPEG. Hopefully i'll get some more time this weekend to go out and get more pictures, however i guess these ones of my backyard will have to suffice for now.
