Early humans used more complex tools than we thought and shared these tools with subsequent generations. Duh.

We continue to find that we are older than we think. Look at how far we've come in 2,000 years. Imagine how far we could go with 10,000 years, or even 20,000. Where have we been? What did we know?

Neanderthals lived approx 30,000 years ago. Their brains are equivalent in size to ours at birth but apparently grow slightly larger than ours by adulthood. It's believed that homo sapiens and neanderthals lived together and even interbred with each other. We don't know what happened to them.

Doing in 4 days from the sky with a laser what could take someone weeks or years to do from the ground with a machete.

Now we need something similar to start scanning, with accuracy, the ocean floor for lost cities.

This is prior to the last Ice Age. We knew how to make music with bones. Imagine what happened within the next 3 to 5 thousand years of that.
