I clearly remember thinking three things that day while sitting in church. Our Pastor announced that there would be a Bible journaling class held in the upcoming weeks. Why Bible journaling? I thought. I’m not artsy so what am I even thinking about it…

We all have them. Some of us more than others. Condemning, comparative, sad or lonely, unworthy and unloved kind of thoughts.

Negative thoughts.

For some, it's a continual battle of what we are focusing on. For others, it's more circumstantial. It can be based on hormones, stress, sleep patterns etc. But no matter what. The thoughts are real and hard to control.

So is it really possible to take those thoughts captive?

Today I am diving into this topic over on Blogs by Christian Women where will take a look at 5 steps you can take to crush those negative thoughts Biblically!

Will you join me?

For most homeschoolers, there isn't much separation between "life" and "school". This can be both hard and a blessing! No matter how much we plan (or not :) ) "life" has a tendency to throw curve balls at us.

We've experienced some of these trials in our homeschool journey.

- An extended time of illness or physical pain for Mom or Dad

- The birth of a new baby

- The whole family being sick

- A death of a loved one

- A move

- A change in season (added stressors, schedule changes, etc)

These on top of the regular strains of homeschooling can be a real challenge. So how are we to handle homeschooling when it gets hard?

Today I'm super excited to jump into the Homeschooling  101Blog Party over on Kingdom First Homeschool where we will discuss 4 Tips To Help You Homeschool When Life is Hard!

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

As a Christian Mom, there is little else more important to my heart then encouraging my tweens in their own walk with the Lord. I understand the importance of doing my best to teach them how to have their own quiet time from tween to teen and beyond.
