Richard Branson: Journey from a school dropout to a famous billionaire

What would be more interesting than a life of a billionaire? Richard Branson, The proud owner of Virgin Group has leads his life in his own way and became a millionaire at the age of 23. Richard Branson life is a kind of fillip for the youths who find hard to mingle with their studies. Being a Dyslexic boy in his early life, he never found his studies easy and failed in IQ test and other tests that are meant for measuring intelligence.
Those intelligence tests never measure the real intelligence of Richard, his creativity, inside fire and strength of his ambitions. Eventually Richard drops school at the age of 16 and headed towards the journey of becoming U.K’s 4th richest billionaire.
He started his career with a magazine named ‘Student’ that focuses not on school but on its students. The magazine was a big hit on which his former principal told him that chances are there that, either he ended up in prison or becomes a millionaire.
That was the stepping stone in his life, after what he never ever gazed back. Today Richard has everything one can ever think about.
What you can learn from this man

1. You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing and by falling over and it’s because you fall over that you learn to save yourself from falling over.

2. Entrepreneurship is not about making money, it’s about turning what excites you in life into capital.

3. Practical knowledge is far more better than formal one

4. Every risk is worth taking as long as it’s in a good cause and contributes to a good life

5. Think simple, which is what real complexity.

6. Curiosity is a great quality in an entrepreneur.

7. Do what you love and the money will follow.

Branson in you
What if I tell you that Richard Branson is not living in his 74 acre island but somewhere deep inside you. It’s true and all you had to do is discover him at the right time. Anyone of us can be as successful as him when we find the real meaning of our life. What we really want just like Branson did.
Branson fought wonderfully with his condition and completely overcame it. He never allowed his weakness to overshadow his aspirations.
Being a student this is the most important thing to keep in mind. Turn your weakness into your strength and develop success from failures.

So are you ready to become next Richard Branson? And who knows one day you’ll become a millionaire sitting beside him and sipping coffee. So don’t lose hope because anything is possible.
