This has been a good week for gaming, with reversal of two horrible decisions made in recent blockbusters. First, the Diablo III auction shuts down, and now SimCity is available for offline play!
(BTW, +Electronic Arts you might want to work on your blog titles.)

I threw together a simple app to demonstrate using Google Cloud Endpoints and AngularJS in Python. It's based off of the Todo example in the Angular docs.
I use the $resource service for interacting with my Endpoints API. It's very easy to set this up, but I avoided the issue of authentication.
Look out for another example that uses the Google JS API client and an adapter to handle more advanced usage of Endpoints in Angular.

I don't think +Yale University was completely honest in why the first site was shut down. Transparency in course information is never a bad thing. It will be interesting to hear the response to this solution.

Looks interesting. They just need J. K. Simmons in the background providing some audio motivation.

$300 might be too much, but I'm still excited! I've still got a WRT54GL running Tomato, just like the day I got it (it's no longer the front line of my network though, that might be risky...)

Better hope interest rates are actually tracking inflation, or you'll end up broke and lonely.
On a starship travelling near the speed of light, a handful of years might pass for the crew while hundreds passed on a planet it was travelling from or to. That makes calculating interest rates hard, since savers could pay starship captains to carry them forward in time, to reap the benefits of centuries of accumulated interest http://econ.st/1fXVCLs

+Paul Rashidi and I have been working hard on more getting started examples for Google Cloud Endpoints.
The original example (a TicTacToe app) includes a lot of complexity around actually playing a game, which can get in the way when you're trying to figure out what Endpoints does. The simpler example "Hello Endpoints" tries to be as bare-bones as possible. Check out the following GitHub projects for the code:
Java backend + web client: https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/appengine-endpoints-helloendpoints-java-maven
Python backend + web client: https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/appengine-endpoints-helloendpoints-python
Android client: https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/appengine-endpoints-helloendpoints-android
iOS client: https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/appengine-endpoints-helloendpoints-ios
Enjoy!

I hope it's not "working as intended."
