First page of my new Orange Vis sketchbook started with a map from +Maro Lončarica on how to find Prostor, a local club house of sorts in Dubrovnik made from a house abandoned 20 years ago after the war.  I made some sketches of a heated game of 'Shit Head' - some crazy card game they play there.  Grezo!

A new Pocket Sandbox original story!
An insane 120 page zine created by a 7 year old in the early 90's...
...during the Yugoslavian war...
...about dinosaurs.

Check the end for the extended multimedia interview with the adult version of the author ( toni u  ) 22 years later about his favorite pages.

After almost half a year of travel and a full day of noodling through something like 10,000 photos and videos, I finally have albums for all the cities i've visited up on the blog (hazah!).

There are only a handful of pictures in each to start out, but i'll continue to filter through the vaults and add more - so stay tuned! Also added links to the stories i've written on the map according to city.

Here is a direct link if you want a full page view:

Brought her from the #Baltic to #Balkans - #SeaToShiningSea...

Thought +Jon Schull and +John Kennedy would enjoy this one.  Zagreb has these 'garbage bikes' for the park services staff around the city.  Pretty cool design!

As a followup to my Paul Smith post, I couldn't help but post Tyree Callahan's Chromatic Typewriter.  A fresh way of rethinking one of the creative classics.

With severe cerebral palsy, artist Paul Smith used both hands to steady his finger while typing the symbols above, yet was able to create amazingly detailed pictures that look more like charcoal drawings then typed ink.  An inspiring story, and a great reminder of the creative potential just one finger can have.

I bumped into this article on the Facebook wall of a Croatian friend of mine the other day.  7000 km from home, I was surprised to see a familiar face front and center;  +Jon Schull was just getting this project going when I saw him last, looks like it's taken off like a rocket!  Great project crowdsourcing 3D printers for accessibility - with some superhero flavors on top.
