We are very happy because we just made the perfect chocolate cheesecake which is no added sugar at all!!!!! We used 2 x (220g) packages of digestive biscuits no added sugar, 100g unsalted butter at room temperature, 3 x (180g) packages of light creamy cheese (Philadelphia), and 2 x (220g) jars of no added sugar chocolate spread.
How to make your biscuit base.
1. Put your biscuits in a plastic food bag and crush to crumbs using a rolling pin. Transfer the crumbs to a bowl, then pour over 100g unsalted butter at room temperature. Mix thoroughly until the crumbs are completely coated. Tip them into the prepared tin and press firmly down into the base to create an even layer. Chill in the fridge for 1 hr to set firmly.
How to make the filling
1. Put the creamy cheese in a mixing bowl and give the cheese a good mix.
2. Add the no added sugar chocolate spread and mix thoroughly until your ingredients are fully mixed with each other.
We didn't add any sugar or natural sweetener because the taste was sweet enough for our taste preference, however if you want sweeter you can add sugar or stevia accordingly until you reach the sweetness that you like.
3. An hour later check your base is set and then add the filling of cheese and chocolate spread mixture.
4. Finally, spread evenly across the base and let it set in the fridge overnight.
Decoration.
1. You can decorate your amazing Chocolate cheese cake with any fruit or fruit sauces or any other way according to your own preferences.
