ACT experts. These folks were able to get my granddaughter a 6 point improvement on her ACT test. She has been accepted to University of Washington with a very sizable scholarship. Money well spent.

Great and knowledgeable staff. Worked wonders with my daugther- confidence where there was none before, self esteem to TRY, and a whole new world of skills that she was lacking before. We will be back for a summer program!

A+ experience. Tried Sylvan and found my son's progress was a secret and really no progress was made. At Huntington, the staff kept me in the know AND visited the school to get a accurate representation of HOW he was doing in class. The teachers made it fun for my son-who had long found school boring and dreaded going. He is a COMPLETELY different child and I give all the credit to the ladies (and gentlemen) that my son worked with at Huntington. We will be back for ACT next fall! Thank you Ashley & Karen for giving our son the drive and desire to do well in school!

My Son is 8 and the youngest of 4 children. The older 3 sailed right through with confidence in their abilities. So I assumed 4th child, would just follow suit. He was happy, kept up with everyone else. I volunteered in his class each year so I was involved. Towards the middle of 2nd grade, his teacher picked up on it that his reading, math, phonics scores were really low. I became very concerned and knew something had to be done. Going into 3rd grade is too critical to let this go. I met Karen and Ashley at a middle school where they were informing students about Huntington and I asked them round about questions, I didn't know if they helped younger children and I really don't know were I was heading with this. They were the most personable people I have ever met. They were interested what I had to say, not pushy, made me feel like it was my choice and bring him in for a diagnostic test just to see where he is at. No pressure, no Hype. I held on the their card for 2 months before I made the call. (I was in denial) I finally made the call. It was a great experience for my son. They made him feel warm and welcome, and this was a fun place to be. When the results came back, I just bawled. Here was my 8 year old who's math skills could not even reach the testing mark, phonics and reading about Pre-school to Kindergarten Level. How did this happen under my nose. I was totally frightened! I thought he needed a little help but this was brace yourself this is the truth! My husband and I talked about it took a deep breath, pulled from his college fund and decided this was the best place for him. Each time my son went to Huntington he was greeted warmly, he was excited to be there and they made him feel welcome. When it was time to leave, he always had the biggest smile on his face and couldn't wait to tell me about what he did, read and learned. I saw progress within just a few weeks. The innovative fun ways of teaching at Huntington brought more enthusiasm and motivation for my son to keep going and work hard. His teacher at school was amazed how quickly his reading levels were coming up. When he would pass off words and bring them home he had such a sense of accomplishment. He was more confident and I felt like he had a look on his face like a whole new world had been opened. I will never forget the day when after 3 months, Karen and I had a Parent meeting to discuss my son's progress. When she showed me where he started and where he was in just 3 months, I just bawled. I kept saying, this is my boy? My son has been there for 6 months. How amazing with the right tools, teachers and approach he could go from being un-testable in math, low levels in phonics and reading to a mid 3rd grade level! I am forever grateful to Huntington and all of the teachers who had a hand in teaching and helping my son to be where is at today. Huntington was definitely one of the best decisions I ever made!
