The conference — to be held March 14 and 15 at the Pacific Palms Resort in Industry Hills – offers unique business educational tracts, an opportunity for attending suppliers to pitch their goods and services to corporations within their specific industry, evening receptions open to all attendees, an exhibit fair featuring corporate and MBE exhibitors, and, for the first time, a chance to see firsthand why corporate members nominate their MBE partners, and, as importantly, sharing the MBEs excitement as they await the announcement of the local Supplier of the Year competition winners!

US Dept of Transportation - Bonding Education Program
Wednesday, January 22, 2014, 5:30-8:30pm
OCTA 600 South Main St. Orange, CA 92868
The program offers unique workshops that apply to companies seeking transportation-related contracts, though any small business seeking public works projects will find it valuable as well. Participants will interact with service providers and bond producers and will learn how to conduct business with local, state and federal transportation agencies. Transportation agencies in Southern California have projects worth billions of dollars. These groups, including LA Metro, OCTA, LAX, the Ports and Caltrans, will present their latest projects and contracting opportunities to attendees. Subsequent workshops will be held on January 29, February 5, 12 and 19. Small business contractors need to send in their application to ensure they have a spot. Please find the attached application form and informational documents. Registration is now open and we are accepting applications. Applications need to be sent to bonding@calasiancc.org.
