Really good ice cream is sold here. Nothing fancy, just clean flavor profiles. They don't do anything crazy...they just do what they do right. Standing ovation goes to the brown bread flavour: vanilla mixed with grape nut cereal. The crunchy cereal complements the rich vanilla.

my favorite ice cream shop. the brown bread ice cream, or any of the ones spiked with alcohol, are my favorite. don't be afraid to ask for a sample. parking can be a pain... street parking is the only thing available

Brown bread is their specialty, but you can't go wrong with any of their ice cream. I've had the jasmine tea, Guinness, and horchata varieties, all awesome. parking is street only.

Very disappointed, this place isn't the best ice cream in LA. The ice cream melts so quickly, which got all over my hands right when I got it.

I go here when I need to feel better. It never fails me. I love the smell, I love the service, I love the flavors, I love the value. It's a magical place.

I tried Scoops for the first time a few weeks ago, and I wish I had been wowed because all I thought was "this is just okay" when I had it. None of the flavors (except Brown Bread) sounded all that unique or were great tasting. Though the employee working was more than willing to let us sample, everything tasted overly sweet and flat. I ended up getting the Brown Bread and the Burnt Sugar Yogurt, but as I kept eating, they both kinda just tasted the same... Bottom line: I think I need to check the flavors online or call before I head in. I've been wanting to try some flavors that others posted/talked about but they weren't offered when I came in.

This location is....interesting. It's like a guerrilla style ice cream shop. Mostly lit up by natural light...not sure how they do business once it gets dark. The place is cooled by a little corner a/c unit. It's funky, with hipster art hanging from the ceiling and on the walls. They had three different vegan ice creams when i was there. I tried two and was pretty impressed with the flavor and consistency of the ice cream. Service was well enough and the bathroom is clean.
