I get horrible migraines and I just could not take it anymore. I could not really drive from the pain but this was he closest place to me. I walked in miserable and the front desk clerk could care less. She was cold, not comforting and had no compassion. She told me if i wanted pain meds that i need to go somewhere else because they don't offer that there. WTF? I have never been treated so rudely and made to feel like a drug addict for a migraine i get a few times a year. I began to sob because that meant I had to drive to Saint Joes now in agony. I got to Saint Joes, they gave me NO narcotics, just a shot to open up the blood vessels in my head and get rid of the migraine. I was able to drive home with no pain. This place needs to know that not everyone that comes in with pain is a drug addict and not all patients in pain require "narcotic drugs".

A WARNING ABOUT RAPID CARE IN BURBANK XXX Hands down the over all worst medical experience of my 50 year old life!!! There was no one at the desk for several minutes upon arrival. When I finally was attended the wait wasn't long but I the assistant who did the blood pressure taking and such had the personality of a bread stick. Barely had 2 words to say,Seemed completely bored and somewhere else. The SO-CALLED Doctor bumbled into the exam room stumbling on the door somehow in his SNEAKERS. Did not introduce himself at all.No eye contact read from what I wrote on my diagnostic chart about a persistent cough that had been lingering. I started speaking he cut me off,Asked me if I smoked. I said yes. Then it was all over....He declared "Well sounds like a lingering cold and maybe a little bronchitis I'll recommend azithromycin and a cough syrup. He than adds "You should think about quitting" and told me to go to the front desk. Out the door he went. This visit lasted about 50 seconds FOR $135?? The MacDonalds of clinics? I found out from my INCORRECT Prescription that his name is Dr? PAUL DURON. I ended up going to URGENT CARE also located in Burbank 4 days later. Spent about a half hour with a doctor who gave me the correct cough syrup with an expectorant rather than Paul's suppressant,Which worked immediately upon ingestion and 2 other prescriptions that I obtained at a small but great pharmacy in Burbank called Karen Pharmacy located conveniently across from the oblivious giant CVS On Olive. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes with the 3 medicines. URGENT Care charged me $120 for the best, most efficient care. RAPID CARE Charged me $135 for the worst treatment I have ever received in my life. When I also think about it,Not one person smiled not one time at urgent care. I wouldn't recommend this place to a corpse.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! And avoid the afore mentioned doctor. Just go to URGENT CARE ON HOLLYWOOD WAY JUST BEFORE THE BOB HOPE AIRPORT AND DO NOT GO TO RAPID CARE!!!!

Poor service at the front desk. Absolutely no lack of concern for sick patients; instead I experienced rudeness and an awful attitude. I was seen rather quickly but that is probably because the Dr. spent about 5 minutes with me, promptly writing me a prescription. Very disappointing, I will not be back.

This Rapid Care really doesn't care. I'll never forget being turned away because they were "closed" with all the lights on and people still filling out forms inside and then being told to go to the one down the street by Warner Brothers. "They stay open 2 hours later" was what the huge fellow in the scrubs said. I did drive to that one, only to find that their doors were locked as well. Keep in mind this was 7PM. What kind of center that provides urgent care closes as the sun goes down? The only Urgent Care in the valley that I know of which stays open 24 hours and never turns away is located in ghetto Panorama City.

HORRIBLE STAY AWAY ITS FOR YOUR HEALTH. I was traveling and went into the urgent care for a problem with my eye. Upon entering the building I realized I was in big trouble. It is run down cold and dirty. I was put in a room and than the doctor came in. He was probably 80ish age and was all over the place. I honestly believe he was on some sort of amphetamine. To cut this short and get to the end the doctor had absolutely no clue what he was doing and told me both ears, nose, and throat were all infected. My eye had a small piece of dirt in it that he removed and everything would be better the next day and wrote me two prescriptions. ALL WRONG! I woke up the next morning with my eye worse than the day before. Verifying what I thought that he had no clue what he was talking about I proceeded to see a real doctor that same day. I had zero infections and my eye needed a different type of eye drops. STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ITS IN YOUR HEALTHS BEST INTEREST

Just another bad review. I seriously hope that you see these and reconsider going here. Even if you are in a moment of desperation, move on! I broke my back and the lack of compassion here was insane. Not only did my roommate have to literally handle me because the doctor and staff were too afraid to touch me to move me, like everyone else I was way overcharged and am still battling them. I agreed to pay the $400 for xrays that I now get for $60 somewhere legit. I received a bill for the $115 i still owed them and 2 new seperate charges. One of the charges is still unknown. It was a random $40 charge for something I paid the day I was there. Their apology? Oops! I was also charged for a bullshit brace I never agreed to pay. After I signed all my paper work agreeing to pay for the service and xrays, they slapped this brace on me sent me out the door and billed me. The doctor had my roommate put the brace on me and told me i should consider going to a warehouse to try on discounted braces. Yeah, because they are that simple, one size fits all right? How does this place exist? Urgent Care? What did they do exactly? The billing department says they have too many complaints and that they are a new company working with them. Its out of there control. Everything about this place reeks SCAM!

I went to this urgent care last Thursday. I had bloodwork done there and the doctor told me my results would be in Friday, Saturday at the latest. I called Saturday, and the receptionist told me they had no results and that they should be in first thing Monday morning. When I told the receptionist that my pain is unbearable, she pretty much said tough luck till Monday, there was nothing they could do. I called first thing Monday morning and that receptionist told me that they wouldn't be in for 3-5 business days. Again a lack of compassion or care. Also the doctor wrote down in my chart to take tylenol for pain, get rest and drink plenty of fluids which she did not tell me any of that. Actually she had me go to work the next day. Sounds confused to me.

Extremely DISAPPOINTED in this facility. They're supposed to be an urgent care facility, but they lacked the much required compassion to care for others. The front desk woman 'Veronica' is unprofessional. The big fellow "Brian" uses his size to intimidate (which is unprofessional behavior in itself); and the tall pencil-figured doctor (I didn't catch his name, but I refer to him as 'Iceberg' because that's how cold he was). They were more interested in closing the place for the day than in caring for ill-arriving patients. I was refused treatment for palpitations and told to drive myself to the nearest emergency room even though the clinic would not be closing for another hour and twenty minutes. They wouldn't even take my blood pressure. Not to mention that there were only two patients in the waiting completing forms. Plus, I had previously called to inquire on the time the clinic would close -- for which I was told that they close at 5pm on Saturdays. Their business hours are clearly posted on the glass door of the clinic, but the staff refused to acknowledge this and instead lock their doors allowing entrance to potential patients on a discriminating and arrival basis only. HORRIBLE PLACE! - You couldn't pay me enough to EVER go back there, not even if I were dying. My advice: Run like heck in the other direction, FAST! - I'm completely mystified as to why these people are allowed to work in the medical profession. Deeply distraught and disgusted with Rapid Care, Burbank, California on Olive Avenue -- they left a bad taste in my mouth...
