Message from the KDE community:
Fedorians! The latest update of our applications is available and certainly soon coming to your testing and back port repositories!
Let us know if you enjoy them.

We're proud to announce the latest release of our Applications! Version 4.13 introduces lots of improvements all over, from Kate and Okular to Kontact and Palapeli. The new Semantic Search added to the (otherwise frozen) libraries brings great performance- and stability benefits.

Plasma Workspaces and our libraries are not part of this release as their respective teams are focusing on the transition to Frameworks 5. This release is translated into 53 languages; more languages are expected to be added in subsequent monthly minor bugfix releases.

We hope you will enjoy this release!

If you can, consider supporting us: developing software is hard work and we can use your contribution! http://jointhegame.kde.org/

+Sandro Mathys - I edited my last comment to reflect that Feedly doesn't seem to clear the text input box for adding a feed when you press A.  If I make sure that only the correct URL in in the box, everything works fine.

This is part two of a series based on talks at February at DevConf in the Czech Republic. This part talks about what we are actually doing, and why we think those things address the problems.

+Robyn Bergeron, the Fedora Project Leader, on what's going on in Fedora now and the relationship between Fedora and Red Hat.
It was just about 4 years ago that I hopped on a plane to go to Raleigh, North Carolina to go meet up with some folks and work on Marketing Things for an open source project that I had recently started contributing to, called Fedora.   The Fedora Marketing Team was having a FAD (Fedora Activity […]

Someone said Fedora 21?
As a follow up to my previous post, we're now getting closer to the Fedora 21 schedule. It's still not there and "no earlier than" type until we collect all proposed Changes (and will take a look on the scope of the release)...

Maybe you're right, maybe I need to give RHEL another go. I seem to recall having issues running some of the extra software we needed on RHEL+EPEL+RPMFusion but maybe I'm remembering incorrectly. Thanks for the tip.

Introduction

The Fedora Project is a global partnership of free software community members. The Fedora Project is sponsored by Red Hat, which invests in our infrastructure and resources to encourage collaboration and incubate innovative new technologies. Some of these technologies may later be integrated into Red Hat products. They are developed in Fedora and produced under a free and open source license from inception, so other free software communities and projects are free to study, adopt, and modify them.

Read an overview to read more about our mission, our community, our governance, and what makes Fedora unique. You can also learn about our vision and core values — the foundations upon which the project is built. We also have information relating to our user base, and theobjectives for our technical work.
