I am raising this mostly as a question to see if others get the same thing, because I believe it is not ROM related, but perhaps something in Android or with the Nexus 6.
The thing is, when in interruption mode, certain apps do their thing and keep pushing notifications, making them visible (ambient display is triggered), sometimes even with sound when they are supposed to be quiet. Quite annoying over night!
For instance, Google Calendar reminders trigger ambient display, the notification light and sound. Hangouts doesn't trigger sound, but still triggers notification light and ambient display. Several others will act similarly.
In the past this happened often with WhatsApp, but I am pretty sure that WhatsApp developers are crap and don't use many of Google's APIs, thus not responding to system policies normally... but when it happens with Google Calendar or Hangouts, then I am confused.
So yeah, are you guys seeing this and does anyone know how to fix it?
