The best Kickboxing class out there. If you are looking to get fit or to really learn how to defend yourself then this is for you. We love the experience and have learned a lot. The instructor takes his time to teach you the techniques on how to defend yourself. The staff is really nice and is also a friendly atmosphere from the youngest to the oldest. We bring the whole family. Try it out you won't regret it.

After years of yo-yo dieting and trying every single new fad weight loss program I finally found something that worked. I have been training for the past four years and have been able to maintain my weight loss as well as a great blood pressure level with out the use of medicines. The instructors are very knowledgeable and are always staying up to date with what is going on in the fitness world. The class format is very good. Students can train at their own level unlike some other schools where new students are forced to compete against more experienced students to "test" their merit. As the student progresses they are encouraged to move up to the advance classes. The advance classes are setup in such a way that the student will make a easy transition into the advance level. They are never forced to compete with someone who may be more experienced then them. TSMMA also has its own line of training gear which was specifically designed and made to ensure the safety of its students. All the gear is tested for a long period of time before it is made available for the students. Another great benefit that they offer is a nutritional program. Basically, they tell you how to eat and what to eat to reach your own personal goal. Finally, the cost of the program. Some people feel that the price is extremely high. If you were to compare what it cost per class at TSMMA versus a personal training session at the gym you would see that it is very comparable. The main difference is that you are receiving not only health benefits but life saving benefits at TSMMA. I highly recommend TSMMA to anyone who is at the point in their life where they have tried everything to get into shape. I guarantee this will be the one that works and sticks!!! Take it from me I went from 230 lbs to 180 lbs in 90 days and have stayed at 180.

I am a Tiger Schulman student and I love it. The instructors are great, they really work with you in the level you are to bring you to a higher level- regardless if you want to be a fighter, loose weight or just get in shape. In one hour you work your whole body, including stretching and cardio. It's great! Thanks to all the Senseis at Tiger Schulman Manhattan I went from 215 lbs to 130 lbs in about 2 years. The environment is great and you get a lot of support and help from the other students as well as the staff! Another motivation factor is of course that the Senseis are fighters, so what they teach us they use in the ring themselves. But without the "preaching" of discipline, consistency and self control I would not have made my goals... I take this with me in everyday life. And as a bonus to working out you learn self defense... although I hope I never will need to put that skill to use! ;o) They have many promotions, so you can try it out for a small amount of money that is not gonna break your bank if you don't like it! (But believe me- you will get hooked!)
