Who doesn't love a burrito?? Imagine Subway but Mexican. Ta da! Benito's Hat. There are a few Mexican dishes on the menu but I always stick with the burrito's because they are colossal and tasty. They do not skimp on the fillings here. I suspect that despite their delicious taste and stodgy looking filling, the burrito's in Benito's hat aren't all that bad for you. All of the ingredients used look very fresh. All dishes also come with a side of chips (plain doritos, essentially) which aren't particularly special but they make a nice break from the burrito when you are gearing yourself up to finish the second half. There is also a very good drinks selection! This includes fruit flavoured sodas, hibiscus and smoothies plus cocktails. Every weeknight, the drinks are buy one get one free between 5 and 7pm. You can get a filling meal and a drink here for £10-£12 depending on your choices. This is a place for a laid back hang out with hungry friends, perhaps in the middle of a busy day. It isn't fancy but that isn't the point of it. (By the way, how greedy does this review make me sound?)

The staff here are as lovely as the food! I had a delicious naked burrito with chicken and rice! The flavours blew me away!

Really tasty and cozy. Could be more affordable for such a simple streetfood but well worth the visit nonetheless.

meh. Not good at all..really. I've tried several locations and each time I become delusional about the previous time in hopes that I can cure my craving for Mexican food. This is not good Mexican food. Furthermore, despite all of the world-class cuisine in London...London does not do or know Mexican food...sadly. Also-please someone.. anyone teach these restaurants what Mexican seasoning is and it does not include anything in the curry family. That said..if desperate again, I will default to my native US favourite- "Chipotle"... or seek out any of the many other options that are not Mexican.

A yummy, authentic Mexican experience in the heart of Covent Garden. I opted for the "naked burrito" (I have a wheat-free diet) which allowed me to have all of the burrito yummies without the flour tortilla. My burrito was prepared quickly and with a smile, and because I got the veggie option instead of meat, guacamole was FREE! The massive plate of food came with free homemade tortilla chips to sweeten the deal. My boyfriend and I enjoyed eating in and listening to the Mexican pop music on the radio! A great Sunday lunch experience. Recommend.

Charm, charisma and for once a bit of personality from a burrito barista, this is not your average, run of the mill Mexican eatery. Reasonably priced for how central it is and good quality ingredients mean you'll find yourself going out of your way to come back here. Cocktail hour 5-7 looks promising too!

Great option for a pre-theatre dinner when you're cutting it a little fine! Filling, fresh and good value burritos with lots of lovely fillings to choose from plus all meals come with a side of nachos. An impressive array of authentic drinks to choose from, with their cocktails complemented by some original soft alternatives, including the deliciously sweet horchata. Friendly staff, speedy service and I've never not been able to get a seat, which is a bonus.
