+Gene Maryushenko gives you a 10-minute solution to a problem that normally takes a couple of weeks to get resolved. That's about 2000 times faster, or 20,000 minutes sooner!

We have had a few cases, in which clients would come to us and would ask us why their Yext score "hasn't changed" / "is lower than before we started our work" / "isn't with 0% error rate". It could be difficult to explain to them (and even more difficult for them to comprehend) that Yext's scanner is just a marketing tool and it doesn't display results in an accurate manner, or at least it displays them in a rather self-serving manner.

Interestingly, in many cases the tool even links to non-Yext-PowerListings listings for clients that do have Yext PowerListings. Additionally, frequently the tool doesn't find listings that feature perfectly accurate information on some of the sites it checks.

These, coupled with the fact that in Yext's network there are a number of sites and mobile apps, listings on which could only be updated via Yext, makes it a very misleading resource for clients to get a snapshot of progress. That is why I am glad +Mike Blumenthal shared his observations on how the tool might misrepresent a situation.

I just noticed these green stars. I remember a while ago Google changed the display color to red (http://www.ngsmarketing.com/google-returns-the-red-star-review-bar-on-places). It seems to have been rolled out internationally. Google sure like to roll out updates over the weekend :)

My wife, +Jenny Tan, shares her view on what the main differences between Bulgaria and Malaysia are. From climate, to eating rice with fork instead of spoon, it seems like differences are actually more than similarities :)
