I believe life is too short to spend it drinking diet soda while jogging on a treadmill. On the other hand, without our health we have nothing. That's why my mission, my passion, is to help people feel healthier, look better, have more energy, and take up less space--without taking the fun and flavor out of life. A major part of my philosophy and wellness program is the importance of spending time outdoors, especially for physical activity. Much scientific evidence exists to support our moving outside the box (of home, office, gym), beginning with the book, "Biophilia." My outdoor exercise programs make people smile and have been featured in the New York Times and Time Out. Only partially tongue-in-cheek, my latest book is called "Nancercize: 101 Things to Do on a Park Bench."
