So brillant, it's hard to believe. But I have a folding bike, with smaller wheels. I wonder if they plan to make another model for that?

Teri, this is beyond excellent--you've really outdone yourself this time! Love the little chat pause too.

I love simple yet profound ideas like this. A game-changer.
Recently, at the encouragement of a friend, I started carrying a “gratitude rock” in my pocket. It’s really just a small, smooth stone that I picked up from the fish pond behind our house. I carry it ...

Boy, I really could have used this yesterday. I had about 3 hours to fill between appointments, and ended up having a sandwich in Paley Park and then taking in a movie at MoMA. Good to have other choices next time! (Psst... there's something really amusing about the Trump Starbucks, too.)

I know how bad it is to sit for hours. I try to get up at least once an hour. And yet I still get lost in web land.

In my 10 years of experience as a health educator and personal trainer, I'm more and more convinced that outdoor time is a majorly missing ingredient in our lives and in our workouts.

You know, I don't mind my tax money being spent for something like this.

Introduction
I believe life is too short to spend it drinking diet soda while jogging on a treadmill. On the other hand, without our health we have nothing. That's why my mission, my passion, is to help people feel healthier, look better, have more energy, and take up less space--without taking the fun and flavor out of life. A major part of my philosophy and wellness program is the importance of spending time  outdoors, especially for physical activity. Much scientific evidence exists to support our moving outside the box (of home, office, gym), beginning with the book, "Biophilia." My outdoor exercise programs make people smile and have been featured in the New York Times and Time Out. Only partially tongue-in-cheek, my latest book is called "Nancercize: 101 Things to Do on a Park Bench."
