Yeah! Perfect place to get supplies for your weekend hangouts in Dolores Park. Good wine and cheese selection with fresh baked bread so you can pretend to be european. Staff was friendly and helpful, even if they were just trying to shuffle people through the store as fast as possible. Gets crowded! Pro-tip: buy lots and make friends at the park. Sharing is caring.

As a frequent Bi-Rite shopper, there are a few tricks to navigating this very small and very busy gourmet grocery: try to avoid the weekends unless you can get there before 10:00 am, don't plan on bringing a stroller or child for that matter, and browsing is great, but be careful not to idly stand in the way of others while ogling the organic vegetables and local cheeses.

Great grocery store with high-end local product. Love the cheese selection and the counter service. $5-$6 for a head of cauliflower does seem a little intense though. Despite high prices it is definitely worth the hype.

This store has an amazing selection of everything I could possibly want. I walk through the (small) aisles and want to grab everything and throw it in my basket. Unfortunately my wallet can't handle that. This is the perfect market to find some goodies to take with you to the park or when you just don't know what to eat for dinner. Walk through the aisles and you can come up with an amazing meal or just grab an assortment of bread, meat, cheese and, of course, wine. Don't forget the wine!

Frustratingly tiny aisles packed with hip Mission dwellers? Oh yes. Total bill adds up faster than you can fathom? You'd better believe it. Does every visit make me pay attention to every detail of the beautiful flowers, produce, cheese, meats, chocolates and breads that we have around us in the area? Does meal planning suddenly seem like an exciting adventure? Do they have the best curated "behind the checkout counter" liquor collection I've ever seen? Do I stop by on every rare occasion I find myself near Mission Delores just before heading home around dinner time? All of the above.

When I was taken to this place under the promise that they made the best sandwiches in the world, I was polite but skeptical I must admit. I'm a convert. Great place.
