Anybody want to do a Mystery State Hangout with a 4th grade classroom from Nebraska?  We are currently learning about the Midwest Region of the United States, so if you are from the Midwest that would be perfect, but if not I would still be interested in a Mystery State Hangout!!

I COMPLETELY agree with everything you wrote in this post!  Attending EdCampOMAHA recharged my batteries for the rest of the school year.  It was so wonderful to be surrounded by so many passionate and positive people!  I will be interested in hearing what you learned in +Laura Gilchrist camera-toting teacher session! Super stoked for next year's EdCampOMAHA!!!!!

Michelle-Great post!  I think consistency & structure is very important for kids, but it is almost as if you have somewhat changed what consistency and structure means/looks like in your classroom!  I have enjoyed our journey together so far and I know we have a great future ahead of us!  Thanks for always being upbeat, positive, and willing to share your ideas with others!  You inspire and push me to be a better teacher! THANKS! :)

This has been an amazing adventure so far!  I learn something new everyday!  I love how my students are becoming teachers and leaders within my classroom!  Glad to have you as my coach!  Your passion for technology, teaching, and learning has made my experience amazing so far!  Thanks!

Hello!  I teach 4th grade in Nebraska and my students are 1:1 with iPads!  We have participated in a couple of hangouts with classrooms across the United States.  My college, +Sharae Geldes , participated in a virtual field trip this year and I would love the opportunity to do so as well!  Excited to be a part of this community and hoping for the opportunity to take a field trip!

Great post!  I didn't realize how easy it was to post within a community and how quickly you may receive a response!  I posted about wanting to participate in a Mystery Hangout and within an hour or two I had two teachers wanting to participate!  After our hangouts, my students blogged and researched about the mystery state!  Great connections have already been made by simply joining and posting within communities!

I look back as to where I was a couple of years ago and I can't believe how much I have learned and how inspired I have been by just being a part of Twitter, Google + Communities, and talking with fellow colleagues (shout out to you Brent and Sharae! :) ) who are "connected."  As you said, blogging is a great way to share and reflect upon successes, struggles, share ideas and thoughts and much more.  Reading others' blogs has been inspiring and has posed new challenges for myself and what I would like to try within my own classroom.  I feel like I have such an amazing network of educators that continues to grow each day!  There have been so many opportunities for myself to grow, be challenged, think, and share just by simply being CONNECTED!  My students are also benefiting from the choice I made which is to be a CONNECTED EDUCATOR!   Great post Brent!  Thanks for sharing!

I LOVE the idea of creating a place to share family pictures!  I take a lot of pictures as well and find it annoying that I have to plug my phone in and then my external hard drive and what seems like hours later I am finally done uploading all of my pics!  This would be great for all of the grandparents that are constantly asking for pictures of my girls!  Thanks for sharing!
