Killer Bloody Mary and decent prices on drinks. The fish and chips were a little greasy and the sides weren't very flavorful, but overall it was good enough for pub grub and the beer helped it go down.

Excellent beer but just a little overpriced for my liking. A great neighborhood hangout, though, and a welcome addition to the Sacramento beer scene.

Stopped by Muka on a whim for some afternoon drinks with a friend. The bartender Robert put on a clinic. Precision and creativity abounded. His skilled use of bourbon made for several delicious cocktails, including one straight off the top of his head. We sampled the romano bean salad in an attempt to chase off the booze, and while not plentiful, it was excellently prepared and made for an amazing bite with the bourbon and good company. Finally, and to our surprise, we were greeted with a plate of the house cornbread - gratuit! Nothing fancy about it, but it was baked to a moistness and there was real corn in it. Robert made an otherwise great afternoon an amazing one, and Muka shows a lot of potential. Needless to say, I'll be back.
