Here is one of our Family Favorite Healthy Recipes for chicken salad. This one is perfect for leftover chicken or even chicken that may have been "forgotten" on the grill!

Chicken Salad
serves 2-4
2 leftover chicken breasts, grilled is better
1/2 cup or more of plain Greek yogurt
1 tsp herbs de Provence
1/2 tsp onion powder
A pinch of salt and pepper

In a bowl mix together Greek yogurt, herbs, onion powder, salt and pepper.
Chop cooked chicken into cubes.
Fold into Greek yogurt mixture until evenly coated.
Add more Greek yogurt if necessary.
Taste and add another pinch of salt or another pinch or two of herbs if you prefer.

This Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl has been known to fight off cravings for dessert. I know, I didn't ever think I would say that either but this is sweet without any  refined sugar:

Today we are sharing some of our Family Favorite Healthy Recipes! Salads are a fun and versatile way to try new vegetables (and fruits), especially when they're abundant during the summer months. Here are some of my family's favorite salads! We eat salad after the main dish or as the main dish. It's perfect for filling us with healthier foods instead of overindulging in other things. What is your favorite salad?

I really like this Pasta Primavera from +Chef Dennis Littley. He uses Greek yogurt to make it a healthy dinner option! I'd totally try it.
Good Morning Plussers
Today's the day we share our Family Favorite Healthy Recipes  as we celebrate  #ChooseDreams

And my contribution is one of our favorite Healthy versions of the classic Pasta Primavera   For years I made it using heavy cream and then I developed a recipe using Greek Yogurt instead.   It's still delicious without all the fat and calories, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Pasta Primavera (serves 4)
1 lb linguine or fettuccine cooked per box instructions
1 zucchini cut into small spears
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 yellow squash cut into small spears
1 Broccoli (small head)
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 red pepper cut into strips
1 cut snap pea pods
2 carrots peeled and sliced on an angle
2 cloves garlic sliced
Salt and Pepper to taste
½ cup milk
½ cup grated Romano cheese
9 oz low fat Plain Chobani Yogurt
Pinch of Black Pepper

Start by getting all of your veggies ready, and feel free to be creative and cut them into different shapes.  Pretty food always tastes better and different shapes add a pleasing look to your dish!
The first thing to do is start your pasta water boiling, and measure out your yogurt and allow it to come to room temperature.
After prepping your veggies gently sauté them in the olive oil and garlic till they are just barely cooked.  Now set them aside to stay warm
Cook your pasta per the instructions on the box.
While the pasta is cooking in another sauté pan add your milk and allow it to get very hot
Add the grated cheese and mix well, turn the heat down to low and allow the mixture to reduce slightly.
Now here is the only tricky part to the meal, as soon as the pasta is ready put your veggies back on for a quick reheat.
Drain your pasta
In a large bowl add your pasta, the Chobani Yogurt and the milk/cheese mixture.  Toss this all together to blend well.
Feel free to add in another handful of grated cheese if you like, season with pepper and plate it into servings or on one large serving platter, then top with your beautiful vegetables!
Either way you serve this pasta dish, it will definitely make an impression!!  Now for the best part, you left out all of the evil heavy cream!!  So you can enjoy a wonderful pasta primavera with out any of the guilt!

I love the menu, with enough choices to offer variety but not so many that it's impossible to decide. We love the paella and the short rib rice bowl. Crab cakes are great but I absolutely love the spicy shrimp appetizer. My little one just has to get the s'mores every time and I must have the chocolate cake. We just can't get enough!

There was a wide variety of donuts to choose from and I received excellent service, even with my many questions. The price was fair and I really did appreciate the selection. The flavors were accurate and although donuts are sweet, it was more than just sugary.

The best thai food I have ever had. Pad Thai is my favorite, flavorful and tender noodles not soggy. Excellent service.

My other half and I have been pho lovers for over 7 years and I was very VERY pleasantly surprised with the flavor of the broth and the quality of the ingredients. Usually when we visit pho restaurants the soup is good and the noodle dishes are ok but the other dishes are very disappointing. Every dish we have tried here has been so good. This is our go-to pho spot and it's close to home!
