I enjoy good food, good coffee and even good tea. I love what I do so I don't call my job work. I'm the kind of person that dreams of a day off but spends it working on my latest inspiration. I am the creator of Try Anything Once Culinary and co-founder of the community project No More Hungry Nights.
I spent 13 years in the coffee industry and I always think about going back. Those 13 years were the most socially fulfilling years of my life. Can you imagine serving coffee and fresh muffins to your community every day, being a part of a fun and welcoming meeting place? What about mingling with local artists and musicians, giving them a way to showcase their work? There was a lot more to it than that but we can talk about that sometime. In a nutshell, that's why I loved it. I made a lot of friends, some I never even knew their names but we cried and laughed together. Good times.
Now I do something similar on my own, sharing the food I make for my blog.
I love the arts, painting, photography, cooking, baking and striking up random conversations with people I don't know yet. I've seen a lot but there is still so much to see.
