My large 3D printed build is for the most part complete, my 1:1 scale K2SO. Need to paint the support pole and base and add the yellow rings around the shoulders but I can move on to my next project. Not really sure what this is right now but I'm thinking an R2 unit.

Go BIG or go home... Latest 3D printing project. After completing my working 1:1 scale BB-8 and MSE drode. I've move on to a 1:1 scale K2S0 from the latest Star Wars Rogue One. The upper chest is made up of over 8 parts each taking over 46+ hours to print. I've setup the eyes with Know-Hows TV remote arduino LED guide. He will stand over 7' tall I cut some empire emblems in white vinyl just for motivation. They will be painted on when all the body work is finished

Printers is a CR-10 with dual Z and only Hictop PLA

My source for the files
I saw an episode of tested where a guy from Nordwick Designs created the STLs for a cosplay (sorry can't find the link to the tested episode right now) but here is a link to the stl files. https://www.thingiverse.com/NordwickDesign/collections/robot-inspired-by-k2so/page:1

In the final stages of my full scale fully functional BB-8 build. Still a ways to go but having fun along the way. Counter weight is the biggest hurdle now

Has Father did any soldering tips?  Have a friend of the BB-8 builders club needs some pointers and I don't have time to record a video (also don't want to reinvent the wheel
