Why would he show remorse? it's his jokes, it's his comedy it's his sense of humour, no one should have to apologise for that. He uses lads banter as humour and believe me what he says is very mild compared to what is said by lads in schools, bait rooms, building sites, lads nights out, the gym and changing rooms all over the country. That banter has been around as long as I can remember. This is who he aims his comedy at.
The main problem is because of social media being so in your face now whether you want to see it or not, sometimes you see what you don't want to. Again though the answer is simple, don't follow them on Twitter, don't like their page and block any posts relating to it. He's not out to hurt anyone, he's out to tell jokes to the people who have his sense of humour, which is over a million on his page. The 70,000 that signed that petition I bet a good percentage haven't even watched him and jumped on a bandwagon, the rest will have been made up of women and feminists, which tbf if you have something you don't like thrown in front of you, you're going to complain, however some thought should have been given first before trying to ruin a career because social media says so.
What gets me mad is you have people like Katie Hopkins. She is a horrible person who is literally making a career out of slagging people off and being stuck up. Having a pop at parents who name their kids certain names, having a pop at fat people, having a pop at Ebola victims, the handicapped, the Irish, the Scottish, booting seagulls, you name it. What's bad that this isn't comedy, this isn't an act. She actually means it and thinks it yet where are the petitions to get her off the air? None and you know why? People say it's freedom of speech but this is where we suddenly decide that this kind of freedom of speech is ok yet another isn't.
We live in a world now where we have so much access to information we have no regulation of what is true and what is fact. Social media has turned everyone into 'experts'. So this is the major difference between deciding what is offensive and what isn't according to what you are shown and told. Dapper is simply one of the lads acting it out and having a laugh with it. Katie Hopkins is a vile woman making a career out of it. I don't follow Katie though and I don't watch her on telly, so I remain not offended. I certainly don't go smacking up petitions, I got more important things in life.
At the end of the day everyone is going to form their own opinion and not everyone is going to agree, and that's good because at least you are doing that yourself and not letting the media make your mind up for you. So I appreciate your reply and that's your opinion, I wouldn't ask you to change your mind or think differently, and I wouldn't you to expect me to do the same. So I think this is a classic case of agreeing to disagree, which is a lot better than the normal social media way of turning it into a slanging match of insults and swearing lol
