Dry, generically flavored food, soggy buns, rock-hard shriveled okra. Bad service, unpleasant interior, spotty hours. We had a Living Social deal that got refunded because Porker's wasn't open twice in a row on the days they were scheduled to be open--we even called ahead and they told us they'd be there, but the place was dark and locked up at 5:30 in the evening. When we finally caught them on a day they were there, we found that the location was dirty, the employees ignored us, and the food was awful. Even though it was barely supper time, the food seemed to have been sitting out for hours. Big disappointment. Chattanooga is full of great barbecue places. This isn't one of them.

Its hard to beat paying $11 for $30 worth of food by using ebates/living social before you visit. Both the ribs and smoked chicken had good flavor, the wife also had the brisket with her combo and enjoyed the lean cut she was given. We had a brownie and rice krispie treat to-go for dessert and both were large size and homemade tasty. The staff were friendly and kept our glasses full. #Groupon

Good barbecue, best downtown. We used a living social deal to eat here, lots of food for our deal.

The food itself is good. Can't complain about that, but the service and demeanor of the people who work there will ensure that I never step foot in this establishment again. I had obtained a living social offer, and was greeting with aggression obtaining it. We had two of the deals that are prepaid for, and were going to use them both. The owner was telling us that we could not use them both, in which case we said we would pay the difference. He continued on telling us that for six orders would be one table, when in reality there are no tables in the building, that I saw, that could seat 6 people. When we informed him that we would sit 3 to a table he got even more infuriated. He then proceeded to tell us that he had to make money too. Why put an offer or coupon available to the public if you don't want it used. We asked what the difference was for the one we were going to use to which he replied don't worry about it and he walked off. We left both vouchers at the register and left, without our drinks, but it was already uncomfortable and shouldn't have happened. So I say, food is good, service and temperament not worth dealing it with so many other options.

This is a winner. Bar-B-Que is real Bar-B-Que. Plates are moderately priced. The fries and cold slaw is good but I love the shredded beef brisket!. No sauce needed. The flavor can stand on its own. My wife loves the pulled pork. The waitress provided us with efficient friendly service. The place was clean and has great atmosphere. I understand President George Bush ate there a few years ago, but I try not to hold that against the owner. ; -) I do wish they had better parking. I learned that there is free meter parking on the street after 4:30 PM. which helps some. I also like ordering carry out by the pound for eating later.

Ugh...pass. Bbq places get a pass on being clean, but this place was borderline gross. My pulled pork was dried out, and tasted microwaved. In house bbq sauce was overly salty with little other flavors. Disappointing for sure.

Best BBQ in Chattanooga! The meat is so smokey and flavorful on the sandwiches with great coleslaw on the top. Fries are amazing. Service has been great every time we go (used a prepaid coupon once). LOVE IT! Going back today!!!
