Just a little tidbit of information – People tend to be more honest when they feel they are being watched - Even if the eyes are NOT real. A couple of professors got together and put a fascinating study together. Individuals were able to pour themselves a cup of coffee and were asked to leave a payment (the honor system). Over the coffee area were alternating posters – one of flowers and one of a set of staring eyes. On the weeks the eyes were “watching”, people contributed 2.75 times more money than when the flower poster was in position.

Do you know what terrifies me? @Trish Regan was the first person to question my INCORRECT statement that Donald Trump would not be president. I was WRONG and she was right. Now, because an individual who recognized something most missed, is calling President Trump out on an issue, she is a ".....". Wake up - No President is a freakin GOD... Each one is human - whether you hate, love, agree or disagree with an individuals politics doesn't make you a genius, It makes you human. We all make mistakes and its okay for the people who agree or disagree with us to acknowledge those "supposed" mistakes. I've only been invited on Trish's show ONCE and to be truthful, I didn't care (Ok, I actually didn't like her) for her personality but I was happy to be on her show. As of today, I have no reason to change my initial impression of Trish Regan, however. I also afford her the opportunity to speak her mind and agree or disagree accordingly. This is the biggest problem I have with social media. When you agree with an individual (let's use me as an example)... I am brilliant, your best friend, the smartest and most amazing body language/nonverbal communciation/behavior analyst some have ever met.... However, when I go against your stance (whether in this moment or overall), I somehow morph into an "UGLY, OLD HAG" (yes this is a real comment), a "LEFTY BRAINLES LIBERAL" (again, an actual comment - misspelling accurate). No one is PERFECT. We all make nonverbal and verbal flubs. People like me pick up on that instantly - "it's a gift and a curse" but too freakin bad. Others, Like Trish Regan, somtimes pick up on it. It doesn't mean she doesn't support her President, it means that she recognizes that he is HUMAN..... I don't care what your party affiliation is..... You need to recognize that every President has FUCKED UP in some way verbally or nonverbally and will continue to do so because they breathe the same air you and I do. No one is perfect. Whether President Trump lied or honestly misspoke is a serious issue, however, those who question this conversation should NOT be raked over the coals for their ability to think freely - they should be respected for their ability to be a FREE THINKER. If not, the majority of our country is nothing more than a cult - believing without questioning. I CHOOSE to believe we are a smarter society, willing to question when questioning is necessary and FOLLOW when following is necessary. YES, this is a picture of me smiling - why? Because we still have the opportunity to make our own choices - listen, make a decision and than be happy with that decision. XOXO

BODY LANGUAGE TIP- Remember, each person needs to be baselined before we can read true signals: Here we see a universal display of contrition; dropping the head down and averting gaze (in 2 note hand to mouth). Evolutionary theories as tell us this is associated with apology, shame, and embarrassment, A downward head movement shrinks the body’s posture, a signal of submissiveness. Avoiding eye contact is another sign of submission. These movements demonstrate a deferential, non-threatening appearance. “Im asking for mercy or forgiveness", especially coupled with the hand to mouth in two of the three.
