Like converting from imperial to metric, dates need to be standardised. So much coding and confusion arises from so many ways to express the same thing.

If you think about it hours, minutes, seconds is already in the right order.

Time for me to setup a one issue political party me thinks...

Whilst the idea of solar roads sounds good, in practice there are too many engineering obstacles. Roads have to work in so many different conditions and adding layers on top of solar cells is a waste of energy.

A better solution is certainly adding solar to rooftops, however its evident that the needs of the national grids also need to be considered. Spikes in electricity generation are bad for our equipment. Decent storage capacity is still the top priority in my view.
These guys are building Solar Roadways to eliminate petroleum vehicles, ageing grids and to save environment, +10 for thinking out of the box

Interesting facts about Solar Roadways:
● Electric vehicles can be charged while they are driving down the Solar Roadway.
● Solar Roadways could be used as a warning system and could help direct traffic away from an earthquake area.

Bye bye Google I guess for any of my documents, images and emails. Bummer:

This made me laugh, experts complaining about too much quality and detail?

Film production is going to have to get better to cope with the level of detail now able to be captured. Its the same as trying to watch a film from the 60's, with its fake boulders which fool nobody today but were acceptable back then.

Just read about a so called fair tax, which is to abolish all taxes and just have a sales tax.

The point of money is to create a flowing economy where goods and services can be brought and exchanged quickly and easily. Without money I would have to convince a plumber, in return for him fixing my toilet, that I could write him some software.

Without money the economy breaks down. Money is fluid and needs to flow. Just having a sales tax encourages me to not spend money and just put it in a bank, then I’d have to get more just to stay ahead of inflation which would be caused by others hoarding money.

If people hoard money then there isn’t enough to go around the economic activity slows down. Such as when there is a wide divide between the rich and the poor. The rich hoard and the poor go without and we enter a depression.

Just seen this little quote about our tax office:

"Please note the HMRC online filing service will also be closed over Easter. The service closes on the evening of April 5th and will reopen at 6am on April 11th. "

What!!! An online service has opening hours? Plus do they get an extra days holiday from the rest of the working population?
