This #Denver #art gallery sounds really cool. Now, can I free up a Sunday afternoon...?
The new Dateline exhibition space gets its charm from the fact that it's not like other galleries in town.

Does this sound like a deal to you? If not, would you do it if they had it the other way around -- paying you $1500?

For today only, anyone in the U.S. can purchase Google Glass — for $1500 + tax.
Today, April 15 at 9 a.m. ET, everyone in the U.S. will be able to buy Google Glass.

Happy Tax Day! I'm celebrating by making a new budget for the rest of the year. Because I'm extremely cool.

"Their concern is that some new, inexperienced brewers are creating inferior products and not investing sufficient resources in testing, cleaning and troubleshooting, possibly damaging the industry."

+Doug Reid Maybe, but most of the BMC drinkers of the world have no interest in craft beers.  But yes the craft market has some growth.  Right now I think it is growing about .5% of the total market every year.  So if you have only 100 craft breweries they can all make good money, 200 and things are tight, 300 and only the best survive, 400 and everyone loses because you cannot sell enough to make a profit any more.  You have to look at two markets, beer as a whole and just the craft market, which is a fairly limited and slow growing segment, too much competition could be a bad thing.  Now I do agree quality is important but most people know that just because one beer is bad, that doesn't mean they all are.

As we store more and more personal data on our phones, the "kill switch" will become more important. But is it just another thing that hackers can exploit? Another look at our terrible future! Happy Wednesday!
The "kill switch," a system for remotely wiping data and shutting down smartphones, will soon become standard, according to a deal from CTIA.

Pretty interesting look at someone's summer job -- and the openness with which she talked about money with others in her line of work.
I'd met the rickshaw boys the summer before. I worked in the fast food stand on the corner, sweating over the deep fryer in my company-issued apron and ball cap. They parked their rickshaws across the way, at the mouth of a pedestrian alley in the tourist-filled heart of historic downtown Ottawa. They came by a few times a day to refill their water bottles, flirt and beg for free slushies. We both stayed on our feet until bar close—I fed the drun...

A little bit more on Heartbleed -- maybe it's not as scary as initially reported. A heck of a good reminder to change a few passwords, though!

The computer security firm CloudFlare said April 11 that it was "unlikely" that private SSL keys could be stolen from servers via the Heartbleed bug. The firm tempered its assessment by warning that the bug is still "extremely dangerous."
Numerous websites may have been leaking sensitive data for as many as two years because of Heartbleed, a vulnerability in a widely used piece of encryption software.

It's stupid that you're not here right now, sitting at a table by yourself using the wifi, or with another person, or around the larger table that seems good for book clubs, or on the couch by the sunny window, or near the stage where apparently some interesting things happen at night; drinking a carefully made beverage like the coffee I get most days or the excellent homemade chai that may be the best my wife or I have ever had; eating the made-to-order breakfast burrito that is so packed with delicious ingredients that it is worth the wait (and there is a bit of a wait for it); enjoying the pleasant and funkily cultivated atmosphere.
