After four years of planning and construction, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. We would create a signature menu with a selection of dishes designed to pair perfectly with our own Cooper’s Hawk wines, made in our own private winery. With sophisticated food and exceptional wines, our concept was born.

The Cooper’s Hawk concept includes four distinct components: an upscale casual dining restaurant, full-service bar, private barrel-aging room, and Napa-style tasting room and retail gift store…all under one roof. Each Cooper’s Hawk location is distinctive in layout and décor, but carries the same warmth and elegance that guests have come to expect.

Their food was delicious, service was excellent and their 'wait' system is super efficient and easy. The biggest issue I had was the fact that when we were seated after waiting about 15 minutes we were seated near a bunch of empty tables which begs the question, why did we have to wait? The logic is of course they have a system in place that they know better the logic behind what they do than I do. Many of those tables were filled by the time we left.

One of the better meals I've ever had. I went with a group of people and we were greeted with superb service. They have an awesome drink selection and a very diverse menu. I got the churrusco rub steak. Honestly one of the best steaks I've ever had. It beats Morton's and Ruth steakhouse without a doubt

For our 17th wedding anniversary we wanted to try something new. Last night was our first time at Copper's Hawk. Both the mgmt (Scott and Adam) and staff (Topher) did everything they could to accommodate my wife's odd food allergy. I was stunned how genuine and sincere they were to make our experience a great one. Food was great too! Thank you.

Had some great house red wine. A great bacon/shrimp/guacomole appetizer. The slowness of the kitchen made for a long dinner. Will try again though after management made up for it.

Amazing service, good wine, superb food. Lovely atmosphere for any occasion. I went first on my anniversary, and they gave us free champagne. Have been a few times for their happy hour, which has all of their delicious appetizers for about $7. You could make an entire light meal out of appetizers, and the wine is $5 per glass for any of their varieties. Their entrées are all fantastic. In short, this is a great restaurant, and I'd recommended it to anyone.

Amazing wines and knowledge. 'Complicated' is what I would call getting in and getting in line for a tasting and buying. Seems you have to be a 'member' to buy some of the wines. We could not buy a wine we wanted because of this and were offered a like wine that we did not like as much. Tasting was very long but very enjoyable. Crowd got very loud just after 6 and very hard to talk to the person next to you. Do not know if I would return without a clear plan next time.
