Fantastic atmosphere. Cool bar, good selection of beers and cocktails. Very friendly staff; Brandon was very awesome. Tried the Celestial burger and it did not disappoint. Trixie the Redbeard is an awesome manager and very fun guy. The cherry on top was the 20% military discount. Definitely coming back again and again.

I have been to Lucky 13 quite a few times - loved the food and service. I have given them high ratings in the past but not this time. I took my son there for his 21st birthday last Friday, July 3rd around 3:30, with some family & friends. There were a few people that had never been to Lucky prior to this. We had a party of 12 and were seated at two separate tables on the patio next to the door man. When we arrived we were told three different times to "Not Move the Tables" and "Do Not put more than 6 people per table". There was no "Hello, welcome, enjoy" just a lecture. I can't imagine that we were the first to have a party of 12 people and if so then they should have told us they could not accept the party. This was not a great way to start off but we brushed it off & took our seats. Then things got worse, our waitress was beyond rude & seemed put off by all of our requests. Now mind you, I understand that we had a lot of people in our group & there were many orders coming her way but if she couldn't handle it maybe she could have asked to have another server help her. It was a hot day & we had asked for water which took a very long time to get, sometimes we never got it. We had also asked to have more ice put in our glasses but she never brought this so we stopped asking. Our group was not being rude to her & were trying to patient because we had a lot of people. But every time we asked for something she acted very annoyed. Then we ordered food... everyone received their meals except for my son. We figured it was taking a little longer to cook. Everyone was halfway through eating & he still had no food. I tried to find our waitress with no success so I talked another server, told them what he had ordered and she said she would make sure this was brought out ASAP. A little later our waitress came to the table & asked my son what he had ordered, which he repeated to her. I talked to another waitress and told them that I was not happy with the service & didn't think we should have to pay for his meal since it took another 20 minutes to be served to him. His food arrived when everyone was done eating. We were really trying to be patient and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but she was also making it very difficult for us. After my son was done eating, a few people ordered beers including my husband. The waitress came back with a couple of the beers and then my aunt ordered shots for everyone. My husband asked about his beer (because there were many times that she had forgotten drinks before). If looks could kill he would be a goner. She turned to him & pretty much yelled at him telling him that she was getting it but if he was going to be demanding she would not serve it at all. We all sat there in disbelief & were shocked that just happened. Originally we had planned to hang out for a while after eating but after the shots we asked for our bills so we could get out of there. It was amazing at how annoyed she acted towards us from the very beginning. I got my bill & noticed that they did not discount for my son's meal. At this point I was done dealing with her, said nothing & paid my bill (plus an undeserved 15% tip) The sad thing is I had talked up the food & service at Lucky to those that had never been. When we left many of them said the food was great but they would never go back if that is how the service was going to be. I have had other servers in the past that have been great so I know that this is not the norm. But I am in shock at how horribly we were treated. I really wish we had just left after the first signs of the rude service. If I ever decide to go back there & am seated in this servers area, I will make sure to request that we be moved or leave and go elsewhere. There is someone that I want to thank & that's the doorman with blonde hair. He was chatting with our group & was the only person in that area (besides other patrons) that made us feel welcomed. I will admit that the food & drinks were good - when we received them.

I used to like Lucky 13 but the wait staff have been so terrible lately, I won't be going back for a long time. The burgers are pretty good, but it isn't worth it putting up with the long waits and terrible wait staff. The burgers are over-hyped as well.

I find myself liking this restaurant more and more each time. The ring of fire burger is unlike any other burger and the garlic fries are great too. Just don't expect a kiss after having this meal.

Brandon and Jimmie (Trixie the red bearded dragon) were fantastic guys. We had wonderful service from the moment we walked in. Food didn't take long to get to our table and they even provided a military discount off food which was very nice. Great laid-back atmosphere with good service. Highly recommended.

It is easy to say that the Celestial burger from Lucky 13 is the best hamburger in Utah. The patty is always cooked medium which is perfect. The bacon is thicker house smoked and cooked perfectly. The bun are from Stone Ground bakery up the street. They are the right amount of soft for a good burger but they are also the perfect firmness to hold it all together as you eat. I also appreciate the lovely spring mix of lettuce instead of the garbage ice berg lettuce. The french fries are usually crispy but the spicy mayo that comes with the fries takes it to the top.

The burgers here are first class. We had the Pigpen and Celestial burgers and they exceeded all expectation. The bacon was cooked to perfection, the cheese was melty and gooey in all the right ways. The fry sauce had the perfect kick. The service was awesome. They do card everyone before entry, so make sure your whole group has ID's. The parking lot is really small, but you can use the Ballpark Trax lot across the street for free.
