Anyone have experience making their own motion sensor activated LED lights? I've seen a few how-to web pages, but for a guy who knows next to nothing about electronics, I find more questions raised, than answered...
Just started chip carving recently, but it seems that always afterwards my eyes are tired (very mildly burning). The obvious reason, to me, is that I am transerring the fine sawdust and oil from the wood to my eyes. But I have to ask... has this happened to others?
I'm using Walnut and I'm not allergic to the oils or sawdust (just the walnut nut).
Finally finished the stack laminated motorcycle ramp! Only took 4 months! The shaped curve on the bottom was done two different ways. On one piece it was rough sawn with a bandsaw - took about 5 minutes. On the other piece is was carved out with a #71 1/2; chisled out after relief cutting with a bandsaw; shaped with a spokeshave; sanded with an inflatable ball sander (Guinevere).
