What are your favorites SQL quick references? It appears I will will need to relearn this for SQL Server 2010 database. I haven't done straight SQL scripting since 2002 or 2003, though I have done some dabbling in SQL Server 2005 and 2008 since then.

Trying to decide which cable modem to buy to work with Comcast. DSL in Denver is sucking so bad that we are switching. I am looking at the Zoom Model: 5341J with DOCSIS 3.0. But the Motorola Surfboard SB6121 (also DOCSIS 3.0) have about the same ratio of failures (8-10%) based on 1 star reviews... though most of those consisted of something along the lines of "plugged it in and it didn't work right away, so I returned it and got the one through [cable-company-name] or some other brand highly rated and it worked without hassle".

I was always a fan of old Zoom modems because you could regularly upgrade the firmware to get more life out of them. And the Motorola Surfboard is hard to kill with a hammer as long as yours didn't arrive DOA and have to be replaced right away. What is everyone else using with Comcast in Colorado?

Did you know that Usability testing has full theorems and metrics to back it up. It is kind of cool that I now have some real data to back up my gut instinct of smaller groups and more testing sessions and adding a later larger group to run a specific User Experience testing session.

I just started my research for what we want to use for this project, and have only started delving into 2 of the major philosophies about it. .

"...if not appeased with a 20 percent increase in Google Chrome downloads by the vernal equinox, we will take back our generous gift unto mankind of Colored Conversation Labeling."

Please oh great and terrible Google, I only have so many computers I can download to Chrome to and vernal Equinox is so close....would the blood sacrifice of an iPad do instead? (Oh that is spendy though.) What about a dozen Nokia Windows phone sacrifices? Maybe we could burn a patent effigy in your honor?

When did patents become currency?

I thought of the Galaxy Song the entire time I read this. Monty Python may have been more right than they knew.

"I downloaded the PDFs of TurboTax returns that were publicly accessible over Google, and that's it," he responded. "And due to the downloading of the PDFs, I had access to the bank account information, Social Security numbers, names, and all of that."

Uh what!?!?!?!?! Glad I have never used TurboTax....
