Story
Introduction

Paolo Patierno is a Software Engineer and Microsoft MVP for Windows Embedded who has been working on Microsoft technologies since 2006 and with all versions of the. Net Framework (Micro, Compact and Desktop); he has been developming on embedded and mobile systems (based on Windows CE, WindowsPhone / Android and other RTOS) and their Cloud interconnection since 2010, using different programming languages from C/C + + to C # through Java. He graduated in Computer Engineering at the University "Federico II" of Naples in 2006 and he began his professional career as an ASP.NET developer, then he moved on software application for PC and ARM platforms (embedded and mobile).

Paolo is a DotNetCampania community member, Italian community dedicated to Microsoft technologies, and he organizes and take part in some events (as speaker), in addition to write a lot of articles on his blog, “DevExperience”.

He is actively engaged in TinyCLR.it community, dedicated to. NET Micro Framework, for which he has a great passion and he uses it for developing embedded systems (hobby or professional). In 2011, he began to deepen his knowledge on the devices interconnection to the Cloud in the Internet of Things and the M2M (Machine-to-Machine) communication.

Paolo has been part of the Embedded101 community since 2012, dedicated to Microsoft embedded; he is “board of director” member since November 2013.

He wrote technical articles on the Italian magazine "ioProgrammo" from June 2012 to May 2014, on different topics, from embedded systems and mobile to the Web and Cloud.

He has been writing for the Italian editor "HTML.it" since April 2014 with a technical guide on Arduino programming and its connection to the Cloud.

He developed some applications for Windows Phone platform and today he develops some open source projects on CodePlex, completely dedicated to Windows Embedded technologies, Internet of Things and the M2M communication.
