Marketing trio helps customers See Clearly
Usually when you think “construction,” you think of burly men hauling building materials and operating heavy-duty machinery. You don’t usually think of women like Kellie Little, Megan Van Oostendorp and Teresa Warner.
These three women, along with Dylan Bitton, run the marketing scene at EDGEhomes, the fastest-growing and second-largest homebuilder in Utah.
While the construction teams build brand-new neighborhoods, Kellie, Teresa and Megan combine their efforts to create tools that engage current and future homeowners.
“EDGEhomes is focused on the homebuyers’ experience, which makes my job fun,” Kellie, director of marketing, says. “We aren’t just marketing homes. We have unique tools that simplify the home buying process.”
One of those tools is their interactive website, edgehomes.com
. There, customers can design their own floor plan or browse videos and photos in the idea gallery.
“Nintey-two percent of homebuyers look for a new home online, so I love sharing the latest floorplans, elevations and design trends on our website,” Megan says.
Each tool the marketing team creates helps customers navigate their options and brings them that much closer to buying their dream home. Their enthusiasm for the industry breathes life and energy into weary homebuyers who seek what EDGEhomes offers.
“The best part of my job is seeing a home being built, start to finish,” Teresa says. “I love knowing an excited family will soon be creating their new family traditions in that home.”

The EDGEhomes team makes it easy to choose the perfect home for any family. Edgehomes.com lets users search model home options by county, housing type and price. For those needing to make a quick move, the “quick move-in” tab also shows recently completed homes ready for purchase.
The most popular feature, however, is the floor plan page. It breaks down the decision making process into simple drop-down menus so users can customize by square footage, as well as the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and levels.
“Our theme this year is ‘see clearly,’ and that’s what we do for our customers,” Kellie says. “We make it easier for these families to see their options and imagine themselves in their new home even before it’s completed.”http://www.edgehomes.com/women-in-business/
