Do not disturb while Driving? Yes, it really is that cool :D. There is a setting for "Automatic", When Connected to Car Bluetooth and finally "Manually".

If you only have one car and your phone is the primary device that connects via bluetooth to that car, turn on option#2, this allows Do not disturb to work with only the cars you are driving.

I tried both options and it works as expected on my iPhone 7 (iOS 11). I have two iPhones so generally my SE (iOS10) is the one that connects to the car bluetooth so I've set it (the iPhone 7 DNDwD) to turn on automatically, which means that if I'm not driving I need to take the extra step of turning it off.

next testing will be to use it along side turn by turn navigation with Apple Maps and then with Waze & Google Maps and see what my results are...

This weekend after a lot of thinking and re-thinking things out... I picked up an iPad Pro 10.5. The thinner bezels and no loss in performance made this a better more viable product to tote around. 120hz refresh rate (aka ProMotion) is really something to behold.

For mobile development I'm still going to pick up a MBP at some point (maybe by xmas).

Wireless Debugging
Xcode 9 no longer requires you to connect your debugging device to your computer via USB. Now you can debug your apps on real devices over your local network. This will also work with Instruments, Accessibility Inspector, Quicktime Player, and Console

that is really cool!

make sure your contacts are really sending you a document, don't just open something you know nothing about...
