We're running a "group buy" fundraiser for the ever popular Si570 by SiLabs.  This is the programmable oscillator used in lots of maker / diy SDR radios and are usually pretty expensive or hard to get in small quantity.

Be sure to share the link with anyone interested in SDR.

Yep, I decided to change things up, the last store wasn't super user friendly. Most of my products will be prime eligible soon too.

Glad to hear you like the look!

Wow! i'm excited to see just how much interest there has been in the Si570 group buy.  Today is the last day to get your order in so if you or someone you know is interested, don't delay. Not sure when we'll be running another.

And special thanks to all the backers so far who made this so successful.  I hope we get to see some of the awesome projects that get made as a result of helping to get the Si570 in more hands.

This has to be one of my favorite "artsy" electronics photos. This is one of my LED matrix boards, in inverted colors.  I should make a print of it.

It's a bit quicker than setting up the whole oven and letting that cycle run. No other big benefit for assembly that I can see. Where it really does shine is in rework - I used it today to fix a board I had assembled and oven reflowed - one of the 0603 components had shifted during reflow. I was able to repair it much more quickly than if I had used a soldering iron.
