Hmm should I have tried the buns or taco? I've been wanting to try this place when it's a truck but there's a brick and mortar place in Little Toyko. The Flying pig cafe is right across the street from Staples, shin sen gumi, quizno, you get the hint. It's on Central and 2nd. So I quickly glanced at the menu, I ended ordered the spicy pork bowl. Verdict? It didn't take to long for my food to come out ... and got a glass of water in the meantime. Service was pretty awesome, even as a take out order. The taste of my food was good. Price of my meal was about $10, but the portions were so small! :( I kinda was a bit hungry after (wait, does that mean I'm a pig?) Noticed that there's happy hour and they shared a space with a japanese/sushi (?) place. Maybe I'll try something else. The price of the food kinda offsets the taste. I'm not sure if I'm willing to spend that much and still be hungry after. Like all the Little Toyko patrons - irked by parking issues - very limited street parking and some structures around.

I thought I'd try this place since so many people told me that they love to go there, and now I know why. I finally met some friends there and we had an awesome time. Great food. No complaints whatsoever. Service was excellent. What more can I say?

I loved it! I tried the duck platter and the chicken platter, both were very tasty. My favorite was the fried rice. They had great beers for $4. I think it's fun and casual, they play loud music so it is not a romantic date place, more of a place to go with friends or by yourself. Very affordable and fun, I will be back!

Had great food. Our yam of 10 girls all found something they wanted and had a great time

Their tacos are what they gained fame for, but even their more elegant dishes are amazing. They have cheap beers on tap, and great sochu cocktails.

We asked the owner what we should get and he hand picked several items for us to try. Everything was delicious. You can't go wrong with anything.
