I took take out this place twice in last 1 month. I have order the same curry with Naan since I liked it first time. Second time it tasted like re-heated and smelling. Never again

I was disapointed by father's day brunch. The price was higher but the menu though elaborate was not special and food was average quality. The staff was struggling to keep food coming and the taste varied. Samosas, sambhar, vege curry and biryani were disappointing. The cocunut chatni had no salt and slimy texture to it. Keep less items but other things except vege medley, peas, dal and paneer.

Very nicely done! This location has a chequered past, having been a Mexican restaurant (very good one!) for a few years, then the place was closed. Spice Kitchen opened 6 weeks ago and we're fortunate to have them. (This is their Lansdale location.) We met friends there for dinner recently. We hadn't tried it before so this was 'sight unseen'. The place isn't busy (yet) and we were warmly greeted by the staff. It's BYOB so we brought a nice little selection of wines to complement dinner. I had the Tawa fish, my wife had the Baigan Bharta, our friends had the Butter Chicken and Palek Paneer. We also had meat samosas for appetizers. Everything...EVERTHING was excellent. The portions aren't large, but what's there is choice. The fish was nicely cooked, and the sauce was truly succulent. My wife's eggplant was done to perfection with the vegetables sauteed just right. The butter chicken was melt in your mouth perfect and the Palek, a very standard Indian dish, was outstanding. The staff is very attentive and helpful, it's obvious they want this place to succeed. And so do we! This area has a plethora of pizza places, Chinese, etc. But diverse dining experiences are rare. The Spice Kitchen is well worth a visit. And the prices are reasonable. For the 4 of us, total tab, with tip, was $120.

The restaurant changed ownership at the end of 2014. Went from Spice Kitchen to Desi Spice. The quality of the food also changed with the name. What used to be delicious, flavorful food is now bland and dull. I'm extremely disappointed, as Spice Kitchen used to be the best Indian restaurant in the area. I haven't been up to Lansdale to see if the sister Spice Kitchen is still good, but your best bet for good Indian in the area is now Dosa Hut.

only one word 'GREAT' so far SK is the winner in nearby area, they are good at quality and quantity. Nice business ethics too. I hope they don't start charging 18% tip/service charges on your final bill if you bring any sort of deals with you, as Desi Village KOP.does nowadays

Food taste great. If you never had Indian food but like fun food that's spicey or has a kick this is the place. Not fatty like fast food or resteraunt chains. I would suggest the Buffet for new people.

I went to Spice Kitchen a few days ago and the food was awesome! I felt the service was great too, everyone was fast, pleasant, and always had smiles on their faces. Our food came out at a decent amount of time and the price was great, not too pricey considering how amazing the food was! But overall I would defiantly recommend this as the best Indian food in the area!! Well done Spice Kitchen!
