Possibly the most important podcast I've ever done. Discussing the metabolic theory of cancer. Please share! http://robbwolf.com/2014/11/25/episode247/

Though I continue to feel great on Paleo, I can't say that I've seen the muscle transformation/muscle gain that you can see in the posted pic in the article. What should I change? Eat more?

It's fascinating to see how our diet managed to destroy anything...
For the type 1 diabete of his daughter, let's tell him that it's about gluten, casein and lectines, they are the main cause of any autoimmune disease, a leaky gut is the key. Of course they may also have a serious impact on our guts microbiome that involves several other issues.

The paleo movement has pioneered and championed a number of causes. One that I think we all need to get behind is...eating BUGS. The vegans will crow about sustainability but they will not touch this. We can take bugnivory (yep, I did just make that up!) to the mainstream, just like we have taken the notion of gut permeability leading to autoimmunity mainstream. Check out Exo and start eating some bugs! http://t.co/Qaix7qJuTE

Just wrapped up an amazing podcast with Travis Christofferson, author of Tripping over the Truth: The metabolic Theory of Cancer. I cannot recommend this book (and the podcast going up next Tuesday) enough. http://amzn.to/1uLBbbe

For anyone like myself wondering how this relates to Seyfried's book, "Cancer as a metabolic disease", the author talks about the book some here: http://www.singlecausesinglecure.org/book-release-tripping-truth-metabolic-theory-cancer/

In short, what I gather is that Seyfried's book is a more scientific / technical view on the subject. In contrast, Christofferson's work lays out the historical, human, and scientific history of cancer research to date, apparently with a heavy emphasis on the metabolic theory.

Note that I haven't read either book, so I could be totally wrong.

Intestinal permeability (leaky gut) was once a "pseudo scientific" term. Now, it's one of the fastest growing areas of immunological research. Keep your poop where it belongs folks!

Heavy emphasis on my training for #BJJ but any aging athlete might find some utility.
