A note from our editor:

"The staff of the Skeptic Friends Network hopes you’ve all enjoyed The Skeptic Summary, but this will be our final issue. The format is no longer serving our purposes. From here on, you’ll be able to find most of the content of The Summary in our forums, on a semi-regular basis. Check the Active Topics page to get to the latest threads, fast. Hope to see you there."

And so it goes.

I will still be "evil picking" sites that are hopefully of interest to skeptics, but as of yet we haven't decided exactly how they will be presented. (Homepage menu item, forum or both.) We will continue doing our book recommendations and most of the other things that were a regular part of our summary. And I will continue linking to them, how ever it is that we decide to do them.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, Martin isn't making this guitar anymore. I don't know why. I have had mine for about ten years now. It's developed a nice patina and the sound does get better. The DM is a very nice guitar for the price. It sounds as good or better than some of the much more expensive guitars I have owned.

When I bought it, the set up was a little high. I lowered the action and it has become my go to guitar most of the time.

I've had the exact same experience with my DM. I love it. Mine is 15 YO.

I knew people who tested positive for HIV and died of AIDS before effective meds came along. This movie is a collection of lies and wishful thinking. And it's dangerous. God I hate quackery.

I'm having a problem with the conspiracy theories in this film. What I suspect is that both "Super Size Me" and "Fat Head" are both wrong. And somewhere in the middle is the the truth. So how about this. Everything is okay in moderation. Don't worry so much. And get some exercise.

Ringo's favorite drumming was on Rain. And hey...  What a tasty drummer.

Sooo...  Clearly early mid sixties. 63 or 64 is my guess. Lots of "mod" there. And England. Just remember while making fun of the white people in the video that they actually appreciated American blues artists like John Lee Hooker and fed their music back to us by way of all those british blues bands. Just saying.

I've been going to this store for many years, but seriously, I try not to. I only go when price is a real issue, and what they have will work. Not everything is less than a regular lumber yard, by the way. Moulding is not particularly well priced and given that you have to cut the lengths you want yourself, the moulding should cost less. The doors "off the shelf" need to be sighted for straightness, and the quality is inferior to domestic products like doors that come from TM Cobb. The cabinetry is a bad joke. I'm competitive with their brands, and I'm custom. The things I find worth the aggravation of going there for is their prices on redwood, and especially fencing materials, and tools. And then there is customer service. Just read the other reviews. I've been to other Home Depot's that do a much better job in that area. It's not like the problem is endemic to the chain. This store just sucks is all. So there you go...
