MtoA - Maya to Arnold v1.2.4.3 has been released. This version is built on the latest Arnold 4.2.11.0 core, with a variety of features, enhancements and bug fixes.

HtoA - Houdini to Arnold v1.9.0 has been released. This is a feature release, including the latest Arnold 4.2.11.0 core, with Russian Roulette termination in the Standard shader, and a variety of bug fixes and enhancements.

Arnold 4.2.11 has been released. This is a feature release, with bug fixes. The standard shader is much faster at high ray depth settings in glass-heavy and indoor scenes, resulting in up to 4x speedups. Now override all shaders in scene with an arbitrary shader. Deep EXR driver now supports custom attributes. EXR files now contain detailed render stats, like total render time, peak memory and polycount. Procedural DSO paths now support env var expansion. The texture-mapping engine has been updated with various bug fixes & optimizations.

Arnold v4.2.10.1 has been released. This is a bugfix-only release and includes the following fixes:  
#4897 Search path splitting inconsistent between parameters and platforms.
#4910 AiMicrofacetBTDFIntegrate rendering with wrong IOR.
#4898 rays/pixel stat not outputting correct value when there were 0 rays/pixel.
#4899 AtString version of AiNodeLookUpUserParameter crashes.

Solid Angle is pleased to release v4.2.10 of the Arnold renderer.  This is a feature and bug fix release. OpenVDB grid memory usage has been cut almost by half. Subdivision is now faster in certain situations. EXR files can have long layer/attribute names. Autobump now works in un-subdivided polymeshes. Issues with EXR checkpointing have been fixed.
