So this place, Republic Gastropub, is going to shut down on Thursday February 20, 2014 and Friday February 21, 2014 all because one rich guy that goes by the name of Aubrey McClendon has paid the owners of Republic Gastropub, Good Egg Dining $120,000. This price-tag buys Mr. McClendon two days of Republic's time, which also completely shuts the restaurant down to the general public. That's two days that at least 2000 people won't be able to dine at this "public" restaurant, which happens to have a slogan stating, "extreme hospitality." I'll say that's extreme, for one person. Screw everyone else, right, Good Egg? This action disgusts me and the owners of Good Egg should be ashamed of themselves.

As the star rating says.. it's okay. Maybe it was overhyped. I had heard great things about this place from all my co-workers. It just seemed a little too pricey. We moved from Denver, so we are used to things costing a little more, but normally the service and taste warrant it. Not my favorite place yet.

This is an excellent restaurant all-around. Unique and delicious food options, great ambiance, and really fun to go on game days. The one thing that really impressed me was the service- my date and I had the nicest waiter who served us as we sat outside on the patio to watch a football game. We actually witnessed two men who sat a few seats down from us throw a fit over something ridiculous (long story) but the manager came out and was really gracious to them and went above and beyond to remedy the situation until they were satisfied. As bystanders who saw the whole thing, we were really impressed with how professional the staff was with the disgruntled customers (and we let the manager and server know!) Anyway, awesome place.

Wonderful Monday night dinner with my mom and wife. Loved the atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. Loved all the huge TV screens. Very pleased. Well return.

Great decor, appealing location, staff was very friendly and efficient. Sadly for this fun-to-be-in restaurant, the food was mediocre. Everything we ordered that had touched the fryer was very overdone, so while I liked my pub pretzel and its two dipping sauces, my daughter's Scotch Egg was inedible until she peeled off what looked like 2 layers of scabs. My fried fish had a too-thick, too-hard crust on the outside and dry chunks on the inside. My husband reported his red lentil burger was fine, if a little bland. I ordered the doughnuts with 3 sauces for dessert, and they were overdone like our other fried items. They were very hard to bite through, and the sauces consisted of some mediocre strawberry jam, a decent chocolate sauce, and something caramelly that was overly sweet. We were impressed with the number of beers on the menu and wouldn't mind going back for a sampling of those or some cocktails, but probably won't bother with the food again anytime soon.

This place is great for happy hour or dinner. I checked it out while traveling on business, and really enjoyed it. The beer selection is fantastic (who knew OK had such good local brews?) and the food was really solid. Would definitely recommend.

Currently our favorite restaurant in OKC. Love the beer selection and everything from the kitchen has been great. Steak, sandwiches, apps, and desserts have all been great.
