The Lost Knowledge - Herbs of Palestine

The Walk in forest with Bedouin Friend gave me a lot of knowledge in arabic medicine and botanics ,i decide to share some amazing and useful knowledge with you :

Nana ( in Arabic ) Peppermint (Mentha × piperita, also known as Mentha. balsamea Willd.) is a hybrid mint . Its used by local arabs and not arabs as a Tea , may be used alone or with tea leaves and spicy herbs such as Cinamon etc ..... Some just put it in glass and add boiled water ... and drink it , perfect mint tea .....

The Lost Knowledge - Herbs of Palestine

The Walk in forest with Bedouin Friend gave me a lot of knowledge in arabic medicine and botanics ,i decide to share some amazing and useful knowledge with you :

Unfortunately i not found the latin name for this plant, but Bedouins call it "Zohef" in local Arabic dialect. They use it as Tea not for any medical purpose or as Spice in cooking . The Herb have amasing smell .... I think its a some kind of Thyme Herb . Local Arabs and Beduins use it to prepare Spices known as "Dukka" in Egipt an Palestine or "Zahtar" in Jordan.
