Introduction

Nancy Santiago Negrón is an education expert; workforce development specialist and creative economy enthusiast passionate about helping people leverage their creative talent for the economic improvement of communities across the globe. Focused on aligning capital and resources with justice and equity, her leadership skills have been employed in school districts, non-profit organizations, corporations and cultural organizations.

Nancy served as an Obama Administration appointee from 2010 to 2014 in the Department of Labor and the Department of Education. She has served in the public and private sectors bringing a focus on equity to all positions she has held. An inspirational activist and speaker she has received numerous awards and recognitions such as the Young Hispanic Leaders Fellowship in Madrid, Spain, the Secretary of Labor Exceptional Achievement Award, the “Mujer Destacada/Woman of Distinction” award from El Diario La Prensa, New York’s largest Spanish language newspaper and Al Día News' Woman of Merit award for her work in education.

I love going to a place where the richness of the food is only outdone by the richness of the characters. The owners (a former puppeteer and a spectacular songstress) are as delightful as the food. I have not been disappointed yet. Everything that I have tried on the menu has been succulent. I look forward to going back as often as possible.
