Michael Landau live at Altes Pfandhaus in Cologne presenting his latest release “Rock Bottom”. We have some footage from the great show and an interview with Mike. It’s a reunion of his band “Burning Water” from the 90th featuring David Frazee on vocals. A Blues-Rock band with wide open spaces for Mike’s harmonic and intense guitar sound and play.

Michael Landau – guitar
David Frazee – vocals & guitar
Andy Hess – bass
Ian Thomas – drums

As a member of the so-called “best band of the world” playing with James Taylor since the beginning of the 90th, Mike developed up to one of the most influencing guitar player of the world. The long list of musicians he played with include Pink Floyd, Miles Davis, Joni Mitchell, BB King, James Taylor, Ray Charles, Rod Stewart and many more.

Dear Friends and Fans,

a big THANKS for all your support. Almost 10 years ago we never expected to have a worldwide community like that likes our interviews, concert footages and stories.

We had a great year and we are happy that our Jam In The Basement sessions got great attention and feedback. We already have more sessions planned for next year.

And believe it or not, we are in our 10th year of JazzrockTV and we will celebrate "10 Years of JazzrockTV" in 2019 with a special Live-Show on November 28th at Pantheon Theater, Bonn (in cooperation with our great partners JazzInConcert.com und MUXX.TV).

Thanks again for your great support and have a Happy Holiday and Happy New Year!

JazzrockTV #132 – Jam In The Basement – YASSMO’
https://www.jazzrocktv.de/jazzrocktv-132-jam-in-the-basement-yassmo

YASSMO' with his great band live on JazzrockTV at the Jam In The Basement. The singer & keyboarder from the Köln/Bonn region delivered a grooving Soul & Funk Jam in the JazzrockTV studio, which certainly does not only make the neighbors of the JazzrockTV studio sit up and take notice.

Coming from a musical family, today's singer and keyboarder Yassmo' came to singing very late - born of necessity to finance his studies as a bar pianist. Influenced by his idols Stevie Wonder, Al Jarreau, Marvin Gaye, and Mr. P-Funk, George Clinton, he began to work on his own style. A special feature are energetic "unisono-skat-improvisations" of vocals and keyboards, as precise as horns, funky and melodic.

YASSMO's Jam In The Basement Band:
Yassmo' - vocals & keys
Igor Lazarev - guitar
Danh Thai - sax
Emanuel Stanley - bass
Hardy Fischötter - drums

JazzrockTV #131 - RÜDIGER BALDAUF - JACKSON TRIP
https://www.jazzrocktv.de/jazzrocktv-131-rudiger-baldauf-jackson-trip/

Rüdiger Baldauf and his congenial band colleagues create a wonderful harmonic homage to the King-Of-Pop with JACKSON TRIP. A dignified bow to the works and intelligent and ingenious reinterpretations in the borderline between pop and jazz by a well-rehearsed band.

We are glad that we had the band in the studio for an interview and could even persuade to a unique and previously unpublished acoustic session of the JACKSON TRIP.

In addition, we have great recordings of the JACKSON TRIP concert at Altes-Pfandhaus in Cologne, where Rüdiger Baldauf and his band delivered a terrific concert.
