I am really disappointed and saddened by articles like this and the comments that follow, trying to convince folks that eating animals, no matter the method, is unethical and that humans are not meant to eat them.

I am not a champion for Meatless Mondays. I am an advocate of holistic land management using livestock because it mimics what occurs in nature: to promote healthy soil conditions, humane treatment of animals and birds, and a truly natural, symbiotic ecosystem that benefits the land, humans, animals and health of all.
