I ate dinner at Carrabba's on 1/3/2015. It was horrible. I ordered the Pollo Sorrento and my date ordered the Veal Marsala. The Veal was tough and cold. My dinner was served on a dirty plate, cold, and tasted horrible. (I tasted just a spoonful) I would have sent it back, but I had a fear of someone spitting on my food. But never again will I dine at Carrabba's in the New Hope Commons Shopping center Durham, NC. They can keep the $50 spent.

F- My wife and I went for our anniversary tonight and it was terrible. The whole place smells like wood smoke due to poor ventilation. My cloths still reek of it as I write this review. Service was nonchalant, we had to ask for refills on drinks and the check. The food was awful. My Alfredo was more like soup than sauce and the cheese sticks were popped open and ran out all over the plate. Calamari was greasy and poorly cooked. I just can't think of anything good to say. Save your special events for another restaurant. There's a reason the Outback across the street had an hour wait and this place has empty tables.

We have not visited this place for 2 years, had family lunch for a celebration. It was a disappointment. The pasta portion was big, but tasted plain. I agree with prior review that quality of this place is going down.

My husband and I went to Carrabbas yesterday. We really loved their food especially the Calamari, but over the past month we noticed that the quality has gone down. The food was not good. The Calamari was not good was TOO greasy. The manager said they had problems with the breader because it had not been changed. My husband wanted Veal but they were out.....what restaurant runs out of food!! It was not a holiday. On another matter, I noticed that the carpet was smelly which made eating my food a little difficult. We gave the waiter a tip because he was trying to be helpful and it was not his fault. He seemed embarrassed. Needless to say, we will not be going back!!

Overall it was a good experience. The only let down was the kids menu. My son ordered the spaghetti meatballs, he's 8. It was so small that a 5 yr old could have eaten that. 1 meatball and a small amount of spaghetti. We asked the waiter and he said that it was a good portion! Also the Chicken alfredo with peas and mushrooms was very tasty but again portion not great and they served it on a flat dish. This dish should have been served in a deeper bowl. The ceasar salad wasn't great. Pizza was decent. I would return.

I am an avid olive garden fan but this place seems to be consistently better. Always are changing up the menu with new specials and wine offerings. My wife and I have been several times this month and will continue to do so. Very pleased customer!
