We eat at Ginger Browns at my little girls request about twice a month. She loves their mac and cheese and broccoli. I try to find something not fried, without onions and bell peppers but its hard. I have to say they have the most awesome breakfast, sweet tea and desserts. Their appetizers are huge and worth the money. It is an older crowd but most of them have been going there for years! I love the Christian atmosphere, Lulus Bingo on Monday night is so much fun and while I would say I agree that the service has become quite an issue, its hit or miss. They know us, have watched my little girl grow up so its like seeing good friends as family when we go. And to all those complaining about the smoking...Its all NON SMOKING give it a try!!!

I ate there years ago when I first came to Ft. Worth and enjoyed it greatly but after returning to the area after some years I have to wonder why? Has it changed so much or have I? I had the same chicken fried steak I ordered long ago but it was not impressive as before. The sides didn't even have the same pizzazz as it did back then. It's gotten boring and somewhat bland. Not bad food just not exciting food anymore. I guess nothing stays the same always.

Here's the best thing you can say about Ginger Brown's...they demonstrate their heart for Jesus with an awesome staff! I have never had a bad meal there, and every time I have the pleasure of eating their yummy chicken fried steak I wonder why I waited so long!!! My Daddy has always loved sitting in LuLu's section, and just this evening I won a dozen of their delicious cinnamon rolls! Keep showing the love GB....and we will keep singin' your praises!!!

I ordered an omelet with mushrooms, onions and cheddar cheese. When I cut into the omelet, there was large slices of onion instead of diced onion. That aside, there was so much grease inside the omelet that it just was inedible. They must have cooked the vegetables in too much oil. They offered to make something else, so I asked for scrambled eggs (and they suggested that it be cooked "dry" to eliminate the grease). When the scrambled eggs arrived, they not only had a shine to them (grease), but the eggs were chopped up to be the size of peas. Talk about cooked too much! They offered to make something else, but I couldn't imagine trying something else. Not a fan. Won't be back!
