Remember this. Well I removed and plugged the RAM in a different Socket and it is working now. It doesn't supports booting from Live USB so the Only Live Disc that I have is of Ubuntu 11.10 . I used it and the system booted but then this came in "This kernel requires the following features not present on the CPU:
cx8 cmov
Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU."
So searching on the net has provided some leads http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/topic/12462/crunchbang-10-statler-cx8cmov-support-required-workarounds/

If you can provide some assistance as to which Linux Distro(The architecture type i486 is required it seems). Distrowatch has provided great help http://distrowatch.com/search.php?ostype=All&category=All&origin=All&basedon=All¬basedon=None&desktop=All&architecture=i486&status=Active
and antiX looks best to me.

The system configuration:
Motherboard: Via 8601t
Processor: Via 733MHz
Ram: 128MB
HD: 40GB
After learning about the beauty of GNU/Linux I decided to check on it in last August end or early September and see if I can get it working with any of the many options at a Linux users disposal. I discovered the system isn't functional anymore maybe because of RAM(not sure). I took out the Hard Disk and installed Bodhi Linux 1.2 on it, My Desktop Bodhi Linux 1.2.0 . The Hard disk died(with sparks and smoke) after few days :D.
