Food was great. Service was not good. It's Mediterranean. It's good food for the price. Stay away from beef brisket, that's average. View is nice next to window with a small terrace. Bar tender took too long with minimal people to serve. And she, along with the table server, were curt. The server didn't mention specials, was unprofessional, and slipped things on to the menu without explaining them. It's understood that this is a high scale restaurant and maybe money is not an object to some, but it was implied that a certain dish was included in the fixed menu, rather than mentioning that it was extra. They did not listen to orders about glasses vs bottle of wine, and didn't come by often enough to check on us (it's a nice feature, makes you feel appreciated). Would come again if I heard a different wait staff were working.

Made a reservation 2 months in advance and waited just over an hour for dinner. The hostess kept telling us she wanted to give us a special table and those people would be finished in a few minutes. Meanwhile there were 4 empty tables and we didn't care about a special table. By the time we were seated, they were out of some specials. The food was good, the service was slow, and we weren't even offered a round of drinks on the house after she made us wait all that time with tables available. Very disappointing customer service!

If there was an option for 3.5 stars I would have given it with a "it's great" rather than just 'okay'. The restaurant has a beautiful hidden look and feel right near the water in Fells Point. Service was excellent and our waiter (Matthew) was spot on with wine recommendations, and gave overall great advice with menu options. (And it was hard because the menu had some DELICIOUS options!) The fillet mignon was cooked perfectly and was perfection. I would totally go back there for a nice family dinner, or a quiet dinner for a small group or date. Had a "special occasion" vibe, but also good for just a nicer meal in Fells. If the weather is good, the outdoor seating looked great too!

I've eaten here three times, the first time had a great experience, the second time I ordered the sea bass and spent 15 minutes picking bones out of my fish. The third time, Valentines eve, I ordered the monk fish and couldn't eat it because they had not washed the vegetables. There was so much sand and grit in my meal I was completely grossed out. It may have been a great place at one time, but their prep cooks could stand a lesson or two before sending meals out to the floor. Don't waste your money.

Not truly disliked, just very frustrated and disappointed. Have eaten here several times before with a wonderful experiences but was greatly disappointed on Saturday August 16th. It was explained to us that Kali's (where our reservation had been made 6 weeks ago) and their sister restaurant have temporarily merged due to renovations within Kali's. No notice of the change prior to arrival, but since they had a table for our party of 8 at 7pm, we were happy. The table, however, was one for 6 where we physically could not fit. The hostess said she would return to address. When our waiter arrived to take our order and apparently did not notice four of us were sitting half off the ends of the table, it required a second request from us to have a table for two added to our current table. While the food was good, the kitchen was already out of 4 different items at 7pm and 3 of our tapas orders never arrived. Another concern: a Baltimore restaurant out of crab soup??! The waiter/restaurant did provide the 8 of us with 3 small dessert offerings, but after 3 hours, the gesture fell a little short. Another group was complaining loudly of a 2 hour wait with no food and walked out. We felt their pain, and their frustration carried to the street. Very disappointing that such a lovely venue completely fell apart with this transition. Obviously the kitchen and wait staff were completely overwhelmed, but acknowledging the issue would have been professional and soothed a lot of irritations around the room. Prior notice of the limited tapas menu (we expected the full Kali's menu until we sat down) would have been the respectful thing to do to their patrons with reservations. Since this was an Open Table reservation, notification would have been very simple to execute. Everything was poorly handled and not one apology offered. In the end, our 8 left disappointed and unlikely to return.
