Best Nail Salon!
New York Nails
1105 South Rainbow Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89146
I have been all over Las Vegas and Henderson for the last 14 years going to various Nail and Spa Salons. Although there are a few in Henderson that I like, (and will go back if I'm in a rush), there is one Salon (NY Nails) that might not have all frills in decor, but, their Nail Techs and Services are awesome. When I ask for something, there isn't anything other than "great customer service" consistent good work, they doing meticulous work on the Polish, and their Pedicure Chairs are excellent too, (soon they'll be getting even better ones). Their prices are great, and being a family owned local business is awesome too. I also like the fact that they speak great English as well. There's only one male tech in the place, and he is the one I go to, and I just love the time he takes to make my nails "perfect" every time. Thanks New York Nails!! See you in 2 weeks!
Quality Excellent

The internet resources and peoples whereabouts and purchases are tracked as it is, so let's not waste our time and financial resources with this ridiculous censorship from the Government. I think there are far better things that we need to be spending money on. This is just another ploy to divert our minds on something else rather than health care, senior citizens, mortgage default, job loss, gas prices, and the crappy economy. Yeah, we need to be doing this like we need another whole in the dam! Just sayin...

I took this shot at Sunset a few hours ago, on the beach off Farrington Highway, in Waianae, Oahu. It's been raining for days all across Hawaii, and we finally got some sun the last few days. Well, sorta, I kept driving and chasing the sun, and escaping the light rain that was causing a mist on my camera lens. Eventually I settled on this spot and sat by the ocean watching the waves roll in as the sun's last rays said their farewell.

Photography Note: For those interested in HDR photography, this isn't one. It's a single shot, not tonemapped. It was a surprise to me, but the long exposure gave this single raw shot a "painterly" impression.

Outback has a good menu and excellent steaks! Their Cinnamon Sweet Potato and Blooming Onion are a great starter, the desserts are fantastic, and the value is great for the price. They have a nice happy hour with two for one drinks, and it's always been a fun place to hang out after work!

This used to be our "best kept secret" for us locals, but not anymore! With their own brewery and fantastic beer prices, you just can't go wrong. They have a wonderful local as well as tourist following, and although it's a little hole in the wall, it's a lot of fun, and with their great food prices, and great menu, the lines are a little long at times, but worth the wait. A fun place to go Karaoke, gamble and just hang out! They have a Steak Special that is't on the menu, so you have to ask for it. It's a great price, and comes with a beer, root-beer from their brewery too. It's the place you want to come for your late night, after club partying too, you won't be disappointed!

There is something to be said about a tall glass of ice cold German Beer and Brats! Delicious! Hofbrauhaus has been a staple of the Las Vegas community for a very long time, and as a local, we love to celebrate events and have some fun parties there. The service is great and prompt, and did I mention the BEER! No shortage of great German Beer, and the varieties of Brats are fabulous! I love the family style seating, and you always end up meeting people from all over the world! Really fun place to eat!

This place Rocks! Their Shepard's Pie is the bomb, and the menu is a wonderful and very authentic Irish Fare! They have an awesome Beer menu too, and their Apple Beer is amazing! I love their entertainment, and the place has so many cool places to sit and eat. They've always have great service, and it's moderately priced for a Las Vegas Restaurant! It's one of my top 2 local spots for Irish food!

Mon Ami Gabi has a wonderful atmosphere and view. We've had our Corporate Events there two times, and both times, the service and food was excellent. Their catering planner did a great job of putting together the menu which was fantastic and moderately priced, and with passed hor d'oeuvres and open bar, we felt we definitely received excellent quality, service and price point. I highly recommend this restaurant for a brunch on the patio...amazing!

It's the fun and atmosphere that makes or breaks a restaurant, and Battista's Hole in the Wall must be doing something right! I love the fact that they bring out the basics right from the git go, with no waiting around for a glass of wine or a salad. Of course they are in the business of making money, and their drinks at the bar are like most Las Vegas Bars and charge the going rate for drinks, however, it's such a cool place to also meet people and tourists, so if you do have to wait, it's always a good time and the drink price was worth it. Their food is good and moderately priced, and their fun menu printed on the wall is great for those of you that might have to bring out the eye glasses. Their wait staff is wonderful and friendly too. I give them a thumbs up and they've been a favorite of mine as a local for over 35 years! Great for little dinner parties and just abour anything. No really large groups though!
